You begin to feel things coming together, that everything will be fine in a matter of a few moments...
But that's just it, a moment of everything coming together, right before it all just slips and breaks apart and shatters you, letting you fall back into the same old vicious cycle of grasping at straws, trying to convince yourself that you are fine, trying to avoid the feeling of loneliness that threatens to slip between the cracks, the feeling of abandonment that lingers in your mind, things that you notice but wish you didn't, the feeling of sadness, of lost hope, of being left out... so much so that all of it wears you out to the extent where you feel like giving up completely...
But you don't, you just go on with life because that's what we do..
Because in reality you are just putting up a façade...
A mask to let the world know that all is going as it should.
The charade works well, no one suspects a thing, not even the ones closest to you...
