Cory and Uni finally went past Toriel... they made it to Snowdin, where uni's recklessness became restless. But to keep their sanity under control they made up a song... it was simple though, it went 'he said...oh, Mary... Contrary... how does your garden grow..? come with me, and you'll be the seventh maid in a row. My answer, was laughter, soft as I lower my head, you're too late, I'm afraid... This flowers already dead...' They made it up towards this... awfully... built gate, until... they heard footsteps behind them... 'H U M A N S . . . D O N ' T   Y O U  K N O W   H O W  T O   G R E E T   A   N E W   P A L . . ?' They instantly froze ' T U R N   A R O U N D   A N D   S H A K E   M Y   H A N D . . .' Uni hesitated at first, but Cory believed that they could die if they didn't, so as he wanted, Cory turned around and shook the strange figures hand.

'PPPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhpphphphphph' Cory showed a blank face without any emotion 'Heh you're a total idiot... wow I can't believe you FELL for that!! Any way, Im Sans... Sans the... uh...' Uni didn't seem very amused either... in fact he stared down Sans in hopes he doesn't do anything to Cory... Like he did to Tommy, Lucky enough, Cory didn't know what had happened to his old friends, and that he only has uni left. Cory had been knocked out after a serious accident , on the surface, which made him forget his friends... but he tried to remember them... but he couldn't. So when he woke, Uni was the only one with him and before that, everyone else went missing. (RETURNING TO PRESENT RN) ' uuhhmm... anyway... I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton, Just, um, go through this gate thingy... uh, it's - it's not gonna stop anyone...' Cory could tell Sans was uncomfortable with Uni present. So he did what he should, he comforted Sans by giving him a gentle hug, making sure nothing happens Uni kept a close eye on both of them. 'hey, kid, can you... uh... let go of me..?' and as so he did... but before Cory looked over his shoulder to see if anything was wrong with Uni, Uni quickly shifted his expression. Uni, what's wrong..? Cory had asked Uni in a perfectly soft tone. ' no, Cory I'm fine...' then what's with that expression Cory continued '  Ok Cory... you got me there... I fear for your life... Cory. Unlike I did for everyone else...' why..? What happened..? '...' Uni went silent ' I'll tell you later Cory...'

Hours went by as Cory and Uni made it through Snowdin, when they were going to fight papyrus, ' Humans... You have stumbled upon the great papyrus!!  as you may know, I! papyrus! must capture you! So come closer if you dare!!' They both stepped forward... they needed to get out of the underground, and this was the only way... ' Fine then If you truly wish to leave then Come at me!' Cory tried using Mercy... but nothing happened ' what..?! you think you can spare me..? The great Papyrus..?!!' Cory nodded with belief, Uni, running towards him, tried to stop papyrus from hurting Cory like he did with Undyne, to help kill Ashlie. Papyrus please..! Just let go to waterfall!  'CORY... WAIT..!!'

before Uni could get to him, Cory was already stabbed by a sharp, red bone... Don't worry Uni... I'll just reset anyway... 'C-Cory..?'
