Ava POV ~

All I could hear was my breathe going in and out at rapid intervals. I was able to feel my heart beating in my ears. It's beating pattern was abnormal. Just one beat too fast. I wasn't able to control my hands anymore, for they were shaking uncontrollably. The colour from my face changed from a pinkish blush to a ghostly white. I couldn't remove my eyes from him. The 'man' who ruined everything for me.

"Long time no see" He gives me an extremely fake smile, opening his arms; signaling for me to hug him...challenging me to refuse.

Dylan seems to be more confused than I am because he isn't saying a word. Just...looking at me.

I clear my throat and give Austin an awkward side-hug.

"Can I talk to you alone?" He hisses too quiet for Dylan to make out what he's saying.

I make a small whimper and nod my head.

help me dylan..

I slowly walk further and further with him until we are out of Dylans view. My stomach twists and turns as I notice Austin is angry. please no.

He quickly turns around and grabs my hair.

"Tell me you're still mine. Tell me he's not a rebound. Tell me that I'm all you need." He commanded while gripping my hair with more force.

"...H-He.."  I blabbered, not being able to finish.

"Fucking tell me!" He roared and I broke into a sob.

"He's not a rebound...im still yours..you're a-all I...I need" I choked out as tears streamed down my face.

I began running back home. We weren't far, just around the corner but I couldn't stand being with him.

I saw Dylan and panicked, but it was too late. I was close enough for him to see the tears on my face. I could almost feel his emotion change and his eyes darken.

Austin nonchalantly sauntered up and bro-hugged Dylan. Dylan was too oblivious.

My lip began quivering and I ran right into a hard chest. Ethan.

This can't be good...
