Cato and I have been best friends since we were small but recently he's been going off with some girl named Glitter from District 1, he even has been such a jerk to me every time I try to talk to him. Now today we are standing waiting to see who gets called for the 74th hunger games. When I heard my name get called out I immediately looked to Cato who was staring at me with a look of concern and fear. I was grabbed and they walked me up without struggle. I stood up and looked around at all the people who had helped me and protected me when my family died. Then I heard a name be called that I never wanted to hear be called as tribute. Cato.
Cato stood with me as we waved good bye to the people of District 1. As we boarded the train with the weird lady I glanced at Cato to see him staring at me. Finally after what seemed like forever it was the day of testing and sponsors. We all had trained and today we are getting ready to show off our mad skills. I walked in to see a rack holding many throwing knives and my personal trident that I like to you in close range battles.

I saw that around me stood many dummies on movable tracks. The people above were chatting and I decided that I don't care if they don't see I'm just gonna get started anyways. I pushed that start button and stood in the middle closing my eyes as they started to move quickly. I zoned in on the dummies only as I threw my knives at them finally I opened my eyes and entered close range battles on them easily taking them all out in one swift movement. I looked up to see all eyes on me in pure awe and wonder. I smirked walking away as I had noticed the apple struck in the wall with a knife.
We sat in the room as we watched each districts tributes get rated, finally it was Cato turn I glanced at him and saw he was staring at me again. Looking back at the screen I saw he was ratted with a 10, the room burst out as we all congratulated him. I got stuck in his perfect blue green eyes as he got stuck in min too. Then My name was called out and we all stared back at the screen. When the announcer looked at his paper his eyes widened and he spoke "For first time in a century! Y/n has been scored with a 15!!!" Our room became thunderous and wild as the lats words left his mouth. Almost seconds after I was being held in strong muscular arms. I looked over to see Cato cheering as he held me.
