chapter 5 - The story has Begun

Kim Hyerin's POV

I woke up, after hearing my phone ringing

I picked it up and answered.

"Yoow~" and i yawned.

"Hyerin-ah, I'm sorry if i disturbed your peaceful sleep but can you please come at my office. RN?" My grandfather called.

I jolted up and dashed to my bathroom and took a bath.

After a few minutes i arrived at my Grandparent's Company.

I entered his office and saw Mr and Mrs. Jeon?.

"There you are!" My grandfather smiled and gestured me to sit

"I know you're wondering why are you here." He smiled.

I looked at him still confused.

I was about to ask him what but, suddenly the door opened.

"I'm sorry I'm late, i had to find Pd-nim to ask permissio-" his eyes widened.

"Hyerin?"
"Jungkook?" We said at the same time

"Ah~ he finally arrived." Grandfather clasped his hand together and smiled.

Jungkook sat infront of me and looked at His parents then me.

"As you know, both of you are bestfriend since you were little, and you both know each other well."

We nodded

"Me, your parents and Jungkook's parents agreed that we are arranging a marrige for both of you" my jaw dropped and looked at Jungkook

"B-but i have a girlfriend, and i love her so much!" He whisper-yelled at his parents.

"Break up with her" his dad said.

" No! Dad you know how much i love her! Why can't you understand that?!" He stood up and his face was red

I approached him and tried to calm him but he pushed my hand

" You! You planned all of this! I can't believe you! You promised to come here so that we can get married?" He pointed at me.

I shooked my head

"I-i don't know what you're saying jungkook-" i looked at him

He laughed bitterly and glared.

"You think i belive you?! YOU'RE JUST A SELFISH GIRL WHO WANTS ALL TO HERSELF. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I BECAME FRIENDS WITH YOU!"

after he said that he left and slammed the door.

I went to Grandmother's office and cried at her desk.

"Why? Why is the world so cruel?" And I cried myself to sleep.
