Insecure and afraid.

Chapter 2

-Oliver-

I caught her in my arms as she started to fall. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I was finding it hard to breath, I looked up to Matty. His name is Matt but in our band we have 2 Matts so we just call one of them Matty to save confusion. Matty was Matt Nicholls and Matt was Matt Kean. There were tears in my eyes, I didn't understand why. I didn't even know the girl I was cradling in my arms.

"Matty get an ambulance!" I shouted whilst a tear rolled down my cheek.

I looked down and her eyes slowly shut. I really start to panic now. Matty had rang the ambulance, so all we could do was sit there and wait. Jordan, Lee and Matt came back after trying to find the guy who ran off. Jordan and Lee were the rest of our band, which was called 'Bring me the horizon'. Jordan was fairly knew to our band, after Jonah had left we got Jordan to fill in.

"We couldn't catch up to him, he was way too fast." Lee whispered due to running and loosing his breath.

I nodded to him. I just sat there waiting for the ambulance to come and rescue her. Surprisingly they were here in 2 minutes. I watched them take her out of the venue on a stretcher, I didn't want to leave her but we were on in 5 minutes.

I had woke up in what looked like a hospital. Four men were stood around my bed, I looked around the room I was hooked up to machines and I got a sharp pain in my stomach. One of the men lifted his head up and smiled at me.

"Guys sleeping beauty's awake!" One of them chuckled to himself.

I blushed as I sat up so I could see them all clearly. I started to think of what to say to them until the smiley one took me away from my thoughts.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name's Matt Nicholls but call me Matty. This is Jordan,Lee and Matt. Oli is just getting cleaned up." He smiled.

"Cleaned up?" I asked.

"Oh, you lost a lot of blood so Oli gave you some of his. The nurse is cleaning his arm up now. He should be here any minute." He explained.

I was confused why would he care if I was going to die, he didn't even know me. The same tall figure that caught me walked in the room smiling at the fact my eyes were open and I was okay. I smiled weakly when he entered the room.

"Oh good, sleeping beauty is awake."He smiled.

"Yeah, thanks to you. I just want to say than-." Oli interrupted me before i could finish my sentence.

"Please, don't thank me. I know you probably don't want to talk about it but who was that guy?" He asked worriedly.

The pain in my stomach spreads as soon as Oli asked me that question. I looked down at the floor and a tear rolled down my cheek. I lifted my head up to see that Oli's face had dropped when he saw the tear escape my eye.

"No, please don't cry. It was a dumb question, I'm so sorry." Oli sighed as he bowed his head.

I weakly held on to his hand and his head shot up as he blushed. The rest of the guys were all smiling especially Matty. I was confused but I was too tired to question it. I grabbed my phone from the table. I had two missed calls off my best friend Jessica. I left her a message telling her I was at the hospital. I put my phone down and Oli was looking at my wrists. I had borrowed Jess' band bracelets to hide my scars. I never really listened to any of the bands she did.

"I like your bracelets." He winks.

"Oh, these aren't mine, my friend gives me her bracelets so she's always with me." I said shyly.
