"stop whining god damn it, we're here!"

changkyun straightened up from his slouched position, smirking as he had achieved his goal of irritating kihyun for the whole half an hour ride.

"why are we here anyways?"

"you see that fence?" kihyun pointed forward, ignoring the younger's question. "we have to climb over it—"

"it says 'no trespassing'!" changkyun hissed incredulously, earning a huff from kihyun who crossed his arms over his chest.

"don't even try. i hope you're not forgetting the mall incident," he said patronizingly, grabbing changkyun's wrist and pulling him towards the fence.

"that was the first day I met you, how could i forget." the younger mumbled, making kihyun turned to him with a confused expression.

"what?"

"i said, how are we going to get over that thing?" changkyun lied, doubtfully staring at the rusting fence.

kihyun grinned, motioning over.

"come on. i'll help you up."

"and just how will you lift me up?" the black haired male questioned, furrowing his brows.

"i have abs." kihyun stated proudly, lifting up his shirt and patting his muscles. "this should be a piece of cake."

shrugging, changkyun walked over to kihyun. "okay. i trust you."

"let's do this."

"god damn it I should've never trusted you," changkyun groaned, wincing as he got up.

"whatever," kihyun muttered, helping the other up. "it wasn't that bad—"

"you literally pushed me and i fell on the fucking ground. my ass, it hurts like shit." changkyun said, accusingly poking a finger at kihyun's chest.

kihyun grabbed his finger and pulled it down, taking changkyun's hand into his. "shut up kid, let me take you to the place we came here for."

ignoring the heat rushing to his cheeks, changkyun stared at their intertwined hands for a few seconds.

was this really happening?

"alright kiki," he drawled out, a smile spreading over his lips.

"lead the way."
