Blobby led me away as I tiredly followed. "Hold on, I need to hydrate or I won't be able to keep going, and you can have some gummies if that helps." Blobby and I both stopped for a few minutes to drink and eat. I pulled out the map and journal to find the safest place to sleep for the night. The only real enemies to worry about here are apparently bats that can shift their size to make them about human size. "Great. Well it's those or orcs Blobby. It says they can die like a normal creature thank goodness. We'll go a little farther today and then make camp and weapons." Blobby nodded as he munched on the gummies.
Once we where close to the edge of the forest I tied some low trees together to serve as our roof before I tiredly started hacking at some trees with a knife I found in the backpack. Once I finished I put up the branches in front of us so they couldn't see us, I also lathered myself in mud to hide my scent. I peeked through the leaves and saw the moon was rising as I saw a few normal sized bats. I laid down hoping sleep would consume me. A few tears escaped my eyes as I started thinking about how I was going to die and how this was all real. I saw a bat land on the roof and peek in as I tightly shut my eyes hoping it couldn't see me. It flew away as I forced myself to sleep.
Once I woke, I quickly gathered my things and started running following Blobby before anything else chased me. As we took a break I looked at the map. "Blobby wait! Take me to this town here." I pointed to the map as he looked where my finger was before nodding. I followed him as I started to see buildings and carts in the distance.
