Soon I told her that this road and place didn't look familiar to me. I told her to drive back to the place where we had seen the direction board for villa road. She drove back there and we saw that the sign saying villa road was now pointing towards the other side. I told her that there is something wrong going here as we continued on the other road.
There was much more life on this road. But now both of us felt guilty of leaving that woman alone on that road.
"Yes! It was my fault!" I exclaimed. We shouldn't have left her alone we felt. I then had an idea to get to the truth. We stopped our car near a person who looked native to that place and asked him about that road and why it was deserted.
He had a long story about it and I had started to feel proud of stopping Sarah from giving lift to that woman.
That woman was actually a ghost of a girl who died (an animal killed her). But that was not it. Many people had already got to know about that animal and thus were running away with their family and relatives. Soon almost everyone left. She was an orphan. When she got to know about the animal. She asked for lift from everyone leaving there. But everyone said that they didn't have space in their vehicle. Everyone left. She walked and walked behind the vehicle but that animal soon attacked her. She didn't die because of the cut, she died because of excessive blood loss. That is why she asks for lift from everyone on that road.
(The person who gives her lift is killed by her because her family was killed by one such person who gave them lift.
The person who doesn't give her lift is killed by her as well. We were lucky that we didn't talk to her at all and drove at full speed.)
I guess we were lucky that we escaped.
After this incident we both were horrified and I wanted to return to Sarah's home. But Sarah said that she wanted to go on that adventure. So we continued.
