"Below us is a cavern I used to play in as a boy. Connects to a series of tunnels that stretch across the entire area. Perhaps its natures way of providing us with shelter against the savagery of the full moon. My mother said there must be a balance" Elijah informed the doppleganger not letting her know he knew of his mothers secret agenda.

"Elijah I should probably go home" Elena said trying to excuse herself from the original vampire.

"I admire you Elena. You remind me of qualities I valued long before my mother turned us. It's not in your nature to be deceitful and yet when I asked you about your getting with my mother, the other night you lied to my face. And then yet again you deceived my family when you held my niece hostage" Elijah interrupted. As soon as Elena worked out Elijah's intention as not for polite chitchat she gulped and tried defending her self 

"Elijah, thats not true. I told you that all your mother wanted was a new start and Anna was Damon's plan not mine"

"Elena I can hear your heartbeat. It jumps when your being dishonest with me. You lied to me at the ball and you are lying to me now" Elijah said walking to the doppleganger as she trembled

'I never wanted this to happen. We thought Ester would help us with our plan to kill klaus. But its not just Klaus she wants to kill" Elena explained. 

"She wants to kill us all doesn't she" Elijah finished despite already knowing the answer. Elijah then acted on impulse by forcing a whole on the ground and dragging the doppleganger down to the tunnels with him, where he knew his sister was waiting.

"Oh come on lets not go blaming the new family in town, just cause you've got yourself a killer at large. Don't mind us, my brother and I are hear to let of some steam and hopefully find a Salvatore to disembowel " Klaus said interrupting Alaric's conversation on the suspected vampire killer he was having with Meredith Fell. 

"Exactly" Kol agreed as he eyed the young Fell.

"Hello Stefan" Elijah greeted as he sat in the armchair by the fireplace of the Salvatore Boarding house .

"Where's Elena" Stefan asked skipping the pleastenies. Elijah then went on to explain how he had Elena held hostage and Rebekah was the one keeping an eye on her. The deal the Salvatores and Mikaelson made was the Damon and Stefan will assist the original as they planned to destroy their mothers spell or else Rebekah would kill Elena.

"If you do not stop my mother by then Rebekah will kill Elena. Consider this ultimatum revenge for the harm you caused my niece recently" Elijah finished, grabbing his coat and walking away from the Salvatores

"You want to dagger Elijah" Stefan clarified staring at the shiny silver dagger in Damons hands 

"Well they're all linked. One goes down, they all go down. The witches live, Elena's safe. Problem solved" Damon planned. The two Salvatores phoned their vampire hunter buddy and divised a plan to end the original family by the pointy end of the dagger.

"Vee, just let me go. I need to help them, they're my family" Anna said now up stably on her two feet as she tried leaving the mansion but was stopped by a boundary spell.

"Your family told me to keep you put, and I'd be an idiot to not heed the wishes of a thousand year old murderous vampires. I'm immortal against the enemy of age and the occasional neck snap, not immortal physco's who yank my heart out of my chest" Valentina argued making sure the boundary spell stayed up against Anna throwing herself against it at vampire speed.
