Mark POV

I saw the young man get dragged out of the cafe by his sister. He then turned his head and yelled "thanks a lot Mark! I hope you don't get fired!" The doors closed and all eyes were on me. I wanted to shrivel up and die, but I realized i had school. It was my first day at this new school, and I hope that I'm not late. I moved here during the summer with my mom, because my parents divorced. My brother went with my dad and stayed in LA. My mom chose Ireland for some odd reason.

*flashback*

"Well maybe he wants to chose his own path! Love the boy for who he is!" Thomas held me in a tight hug. We heard our parents screaming in the other room, because of one thing I did. I came out. Thomas was the first person I told, and he knew for years. My mom was supportive, but my dad is homophobic. I was talking to Thomas when our door slammed open. Thomas jerked up and blocked my dad from me. "So your gay huh?!" I was sobbing and quickly nodded. My dad pushed Thomas out of way. I was frozen in fear. He took one blow at me and all I saw after that was Thomas beating my dad. I woke up in the hospital the next dad and didn't remember everything, and we later went to court.

*end of flashback*

I ran put of the cafe and down to the school. I didn't see any familiar faces as I walked into the office to grab my schedule. I put my stuff in my locker and headed to first period. Social Studies. When I arrived in the class I didn't see to many people there. I saw the teacher and walked up to her. "Don't do anything stupid and you'll be fine Mark I said under my breath. The teacher smiled and said "you must be mark!" I gave her a slight smile and nodded. "Wait here for just a sec and I'll introduce you!" She was very nice and had a nice outfit on. She had red hair and freckles all under her cheeks. She had a white and green hoodie on with skinny jeans and converse. "Oh silly Me! My name is Mrs. Carmel!" I nodded and looked at the door. I heard the bell ring and saw all of the people scattered in different chairs. "Good morning everyone! I'm Mrs. Carmel,  and I'm excited to teach social studies with all of you. I want to introduce a exchange student really quickly." I saw the people split up into groups in the chairs. I saw girls who were showing to much skin, jocks, nerds, and Goths. "Hi, I'm M-Mark..." I saw the Goths give me a "Don't you dare sit over here look, I hate jocks, and really everything else didn't seem appealing. "You may sit wherever dear." I saw a empty seat by the window and sat there. "Hey there! My name is Kamryn! These are my friends Felix, river, ronin, Bob, and wade! Our other friend Jack isn't here yet, but you can hang with us if you want!" I saw a girl with short amber hair smile at Me. She had green eyes, and she had plenty of clothes on. Jack. That was the name of the kid I spilled coffee on. I heard the teacher start talking when the door slammed open. There he was. Jack. "Mr.McLoughlin! Nice for you to join us!" She smiled and kamryn waved. He looked at me and gave me the death looked. I groaned and hit my head on the table. "Same bro" the guy known as Felix said. I heard Jack cuss me out under his breath and kamryn looked at us. "You guys known eachother for a while?" Jack said "this jerk spilled coffee all over me." I lifted my head and said "I'm so sorry about your pants." He flipped me off and kamryn punched him on the shoulder. "Jack! Be nice he moved here from LA. God it was a mistake." "They were 100 euro!" I was astonished by the price. I wasn't poor, but I also wasn't living first class. "This is gonna be fun." "So Jack where were you?" I'm pretty sure Bob said it. "Oh I just had to wipe the deal off my pants. No big deal." I sat there and blocked him out of my mind and listened to the teacher.

Jack POV

I saw him look away from us and focus on the teacher. "Felix do you have a charger?" Felix looked at me and shook his head no. "Greaaaaattttttt." I forgot to ask Carlisle for her charger, and my phone was at 20%. I heard the bell ring a few minutes later, and Mark and I walked out the same door. I turned left and he followed. I swear if he has the same class as me AGAIN. I turned into my next class, which is Art, and Mark followed. Great. It's the first day and I'm already hating this year. This. Is. Perfect.
