He hated math, or at least until he noticed her. They seemed to coincidentally have math together as well. After the bell rang signaling the teacher to start the lesson plans, the teacher began to lecture us on rules and procedures. Always the same crap. The teacher, not to long after said that he had a seating arrangement for us. "Great, now if I get stuck with an idiot, I'll never get anything done", I thought. We stood up, and were directed to our arrangement. I sat in the back row, to the farthest right corner. I couldn't believe it, she sat right next to me. The very same girl who I had previously fell in love at first sight with. She saw me staring at her and she smiled. Playfully she stuck out her hand, "Nice to meet ya, My name is Emma, I just moved here and I am yet to make friends". I took her hand and shook it. Her hand was a comforting warm, I only wish I could have held it longer. " My name is Axle, and I'll be your friend I told her. If you ever need help, I am here". She smiled, and it melted my heart. As the last bell rang, allowing us ability to go home, I headed out with a sigh of relief, the first day is over with, and I didn't look like an idiot to bad. As I made it out of my final classroom, and started down the halls, a familiar voice called out to me. Instantly I knew, I turned around to see Emma running towards me. My heart was beginning to race, I couldn't believe she was running after me. I stopped, and allowed her to catch up. Panting, she started to gulp in deep breaths of air, until she finally was able to speak. "Will you help me with my English Homework" she asked. Of course I announced happily. Do you need my number? I asked. That's when she asked if she could come over, naturally yet casually, I agreed. I couldn't believe, she was coming over!
