Rainy Day

The weather had forecasted a thunderstorm, but you didn't think it would rain this hard. Fat droplets of rain were propelled from the sky, soaking Earth in all of its inhabitable glory. It was days like this that made you utterly miserable, not being able to go outside and enjoy the suns warmth took a toll on your mood. Shota however was enjoying watching you sulk on the couch, grumbling and griping about not being able to visit the park today, like you two had originally planned to do so.

"It's not that bad, why don't you come and snuggle with me. We can nap and and enjoy the sound of the rain hitting the windows and roof together." Shota proposed, a small smile forming on his lips. It was rare for the the debilitated man. The effortless action never ceased to brighten your mood. Scooting closer to the male and snuggling into his well toned chest you found yourself in complete tranquility.

"I suppose you're right, rainy days aren't that bad, as long as I get to spend them with you." A soft giggle escaped your lips at the stupidly cheesy choice of words. Shota simply snorted at your poor attempt of affectionate words.

"That was horribly executed, but you are right. Rainy days are much better when I get to spend them with the person I love." A wide grin spread across your lips. Shota, whether people knew it or not, was a very affectionate person, and every time he showed you how much he adored and loved you it made you feel like you were on top of the world, maybe even the universe.

"Now look who's being cheesy." You hummed out, wrapping the soft blanket around you two. He simply laughed and held you closer in his arms, the two of you nodding off to the sound of the rain hitting the windows and dreaming of the many rainy days to come.
