You woke up to the inviting smell of coffee. As you opened your eyes you stretched your body out. You check your phone and see the time says 10:30 am. You get out of bed and brush out your (H/C) hair. You then grab a pair of dark skinny jeans and a black tank top from your small dresser and pull on your clothes. You stumble your way into the kitchen and see Sam on his laptop as he sipped on a cup of coffee. Dean was preparing to make breakfast when he turned around and saw you. "Good morning sleepy head. Did you sleep well?" Dean said as he whisked some eggs.

"Yeah I did, probably the best sleep I've had in awhile. Though the blanket wasn't my favorite thing so I might go buy a new one." You say as you walk towards the coffee pot. "What about you two?" You questioned the brothers as you begin to pour yourself a cup of coffee.

"I slept pretty well, Once you stopped moving around in your room," Sam said, a playful smile on his face.

"I'm sorry for keeping you up. I wanted to unpack my small bag of clothes before I went to sleep. I actually have more stuff to grab from my car." You say before blowing on your hot coffee.

"I slept great last night by the way," Dean said as he plated the food he was making onto three separate plates. "Eat up, I bet you're starving after giving me your pie last night and being chained up for Lord knows how long." he sets a plate full of bacon, eggs, and toast in front of you.

"Thanks, Dean." You say before taking a bite of the bacon. "This is so good. I haven't had real food in a while." Your mouth stuffed with food as you spoke.

"Really?" Sam questions as he looks at you over his laptop.

"Yeah, I never had time. I always kept myself occupied with cases so I never had the time to just stop at a restaurant or God forbid make myself a meal. I always just picked up some fast food." You take a small sip of your coffee, realizing it was still a bit too hot.

"Well, I'm glad you can enjoy some real food for the first time in a long time," Sam said before eating from his own plate.

"Thanks, Sam, and thank you, Dean, for the food, it is delicious." You eat the rest of your toast before getting up and cleaning off your dishes.

"You're welcome, I am basically a master chef." He joked as he ate the rest of his food.

You walk to the bathroom to wash your face and brush your teeth and all that necessary stuff. When Dean stops you in front of the bathroom door.

"Hey (Y/N), I just want to say that I'm sorry for being so cold to you yesterday. Sam talked to me this morning and I'm willing to actually give you a shot living here. You don't seem that bad to be around, just don't expect me to do everything for you." He said as he stared into your (E/C) eyes. His face held an unreadable expression.

"Thanks, Dean, that is actually really reassuring." You beamed, happy that he is finally going to try to get along.

"I'll leave you to your bathroom thing." He echoed before walking away.

Once you finish in the bathroom you ran out to your '69 judge, which you often called Cherry, and grabbed the rest of your stuff that wasn't weapons and brought them inside. You carry your stuff to your new room and begin unpacking everything. You turn on some music so you don't get bored of the tedious task. In the background Guns, n Roses was playing quietly. Your door was cracked open so you could hear if either one of the boys needed you. You finally get to your clothing items. You had a few picture frames and you placed two on the desk in your room and the other two on your dresser. All of the pictures were of somebody from your past that you lost. One was of you and your mom, there was one of you and your dad, you and your old partner, and you and your uncle. You heard a soft knock on the wooden door frame and you glance over to see a towering Sam leaning against the wall.

"Mind if I come in?" He coaxed waiting for your response.

"Yeah definitely, I just finished unpacking. Whats up?" You say as you turn off your music.

"So I see you are adjusting well, Dean is headed to the store, do you need anything?"

"A new blanket would be nice, same with a light bulb. The one in the lamp on the desk is burnt out." You motion towards the desk near the foot of your bed.

"Alright, I'll let him know." Sam turns on his heels and walks out to go tell Dean your requests.

Shortly after Dean left you decided to go look in the giant library for something to read. When you walked in Sam was already in there, his nose stuffed in a book. "Do you mind if I look for something to read?" You questioned as you looked at the bookshelves.

"Absolutely, go ahead. If you need help reaching one let me know. He affirmed before returning to his book. As you glanced through the shelves you finally find a book that caught your interests. It was a book of lore about fairies.

"Are these things actually real?" You scoffed as you showed the cover to Sam. Before he has a chance to say anything Dean speaks up.

"Yeah they're real, We had an encounter with them a while back. It was terrible. I would rather be sent back to hell then mess with those monsters again." Dean laughed as he joked about how awful fairies really were. "Here is your stuff." He handed you a bag full of stuff.

"There's a whole bunch of other stuff in here, did you forget some of your stuff in this bag?" You wondered as you held the bag back towards Dean.

"No, I decided to get you some welcome gifts. I know it's not a lot, and I wasn't sure what girls liked so I got you what I think works." He said as he tossed Sam a bag. You pull out some candy and a soda.

"Thanks, Dean. It works just fine." A smile appeared on your face that you couldn't hide. You finally feel like Dean cares enough about you to accept you.

"Wipe that dumb grin off your face, it's just candy." He said before walking back to his room.

"What is his problem with me?" You questioned Sam.

"Nothing, He has just lost so many people in his life that he is afraid to let anyone new in. He is afraid the more people he lets in, the more he loses. I mean we lost our parents and then we lost Bobby, hell he has even lost me a couple of times." Sam lamented a look of pure sadness on his face. "Anyways I found us another case, I'll go tell Dean while you pack a bag."
