Your POV

Alright. Ok. I'm going to see Mark today, and talk to him, have a conversation with him. I'm gonna frick it up. I'm going to make him hate me.

No you won't. Think positive. Just be yourself and Mark will love you for being yourself.

Your right. Thanks inner conscience!

No problem.

This is is silly.

Alright time to get ready. I put on (whatever you wanna put on). Ok. I think I'm ready. I grab my phone and wallet and head to the park across the street. I sit on the swings while waiting for Mark. I understood he wasn't here because Mark lives farther away from the park than I do.

I heard a car engine and looked to see a car just parked. Maybe it's Mark?

Dear gosh...it's probably Mark. Oh frick I'm gonna be stupid. No, remember what your conscience said.

Be positive.

I took a deep breath. Mark got out of the car. I took a few more deep breathes.

Mark walked over, sat on a swing, and waved. "Hey," He said.

I waved.

"Still worried that I'll hate you?" Mark said, "don't worry, I would never, ever hate you." Mark smiled and I smiled back. "I'm guessing you know a lot about me..."

You cut him off. "Why yes, yes I do. Your full name is Mark Edward Fischbach, you were born June 28th 1989 on Triple Army Medical Center in Honolulu (I think), you have a brother named Jason Thomas Fischbach but he goes by his middle name, you love chicken and dumplings and hate pineapple on pizza (shivers), and yeah. Sorry that was creepy."( I got all that off the top of my head)

"It's fine. So...tell me about you." Mark said.

"Um...my name is (your full name) and I was born December 25th and..." Mark cut me off.

"You were born on Christmas?! That's so cool, your parents must have been so happy, you were like a Christmas present!" Mark said.

"Yeah, they were." I said. "Not anymore." I mumbled.

"Are you ok?" Mark asked. I nodded. "You aren't ok." Mark said.

I sighed. Time to vent. "My parents loved me to death until around 6th gradish, they started ignoring me. When I asked what's for dinner they'd give a basic answer, until one day they said nothing at all. I said good bye before I left for college and they said nothing back. And I don't know why, or what I did, or of they weren't ok, and..." I took a moment to breathe and was nearly tearing up.

Mark had a look of care and compassion in his eye. He stood up and held his arms.

"Come here. You need a hug." Mark said. I stood up and hugged him. I felt safe. It felt nice to have a hug, I haven't had one in a while.

Mark pulled away a bit, his arms still around me. "Don't let anyone tell you that you don't matter." Mark said. I looked up at him. "Ok?" He said. I nodded. Mark pulled me back into a hug.

Wowie wowie a chapter. Edit: what's up with me a not naming chapters?
