What the hell was that? Evan thought. She’s always had memories in her dreams, but never any new scenarios. Hot tears ran down her face as she peered up to see Hayes looking at her with sympathy. He immediately pulled her into a hug and Evan sobbed into his shoulder. When she realized what she was doing, she pulled away. “I’m sorry,” she mumbled.

“For what?” Concern laced Hayes’ voice.

“Crying, being weak. I’m not usually like this, the walls just came down,” Evan said calmly, her eyes not showing her surge of emotion anymore. Hayes just nodded and sat next to her.

“If you don’t mind me asking, what was your dream about?” He asked.

“My par-” Evan was cut off by the door flying open. A group of people burst into the room. At the front was a tall boy with dark blonde hair and nearly black eyes.

“Who are you?” The tall boy asked, looking at Hayes. Anger laced his voice and his eyes were cold looking until they fell onto Evan. He smiled at her and walked to the bed.

“I was going to ask the same. I’m Hayes, Evans ‘student’,” He replied.

“I’m Jason, Evans boyfriend,” the boy-Jason, replied. Hayes felt disappointed, he didn’t like Evan that way but he still didn’t expect her to have a boyfriend. Jason made his way to Evan and he gently hugged her. “Hey, Dalia told me what happened. Are you okay?” He asked, holding her hand.

“Yeah, how are you guys?” Evan asked directing her attention to the group that came in with Jason. It was all of her best friends, the most elite teenage members of the Werewolf Hunting Agency (WHA). There was Allison, a loud redheaded girl with bright green eyes and a sweet yet murderous smile. She was only fourteen, but served as a high-ranking Silver, mastering in mental ability. Next was Daniel, a tall lanky boy with black hair and bright blue eyes. He was sixteen, like Evan and was another Silver, particularly mastering in agility. There was also Melanie, a tan girl with dark brown hair and deep green eyes. She was seventeen and was also a Silver, mastering in archery. Then there was Jason, a tall muscular blonde boy with dark grey eyes. He was eighteen and a Gold, like Evan, and mastered in weaponry. Him, Daniel, Melanie, Allison, and Evan had formed a tight bond and worked together on missions, constantly killing werewolves. That was part of their training, being sent out to kill. The group had always enjoyed it and considered it as bonding. They hadn’t seen each other in the past week though. Everyone in the group had completed training on the same day and were sent on missions, asked to teach, or did other jobs for the agency.

“We’ve been good,” Daniel replied. Everyone agreed by nodding. “But I can't say the same for you, can i?” He asked. Evan wanted to deny it but decided to tell the truth by nodding.

“Yeah, you look horrible,” Melanie added, “No offence.” Evan nodded in understanding and smiled weakly.

“Uh,” Hayes interrupted, “I should go, I hope you feel better soon, Evan.” Evan said goodbye and Hayes closed the door.

“Damn, he was cute,” Allison said and Daniel smacked her arm. “What?” She smiled and the two of them glared playfully at each other. Evan laughed along with Melanie and Jason let his bright smile show.

“You can be such a girl sometimes, Ali,” Daniel said, smiling. He flipped a piece of black hair back from his face.

“I guess you couldn’t tell, but I am a girl,” Allison gestured to her body which was clothed in black hunting gear. Daniel looked sideways at her, then gasped. “Have you come to a realization?” She asked and Daniel nodded. She shoved him and his smile turned into a grin as he looked down on her.

“So, you guys have any plans today?” Evan asked. Everyone nodded and she sighed. There was never any time to hang out.

“Speaking of which, I should get going. Nice seeing everyone again,” Melanie said, checking the time. Soon, everyone agreed and left, leaving Evan alone. She got up from bed and winced but managed to make it to the door to check for mail. They usually didn’t have any, but it didn’t hurt to check.

Evan pulled open the wooden door and, to her surprise, found a couple of letters. She picked them up and took them back into the room. As she opened the one on top, she saw the fancy gold lettering that she used to see every day.

Miss Reynolds,

This letter is to inform you of recent activity in the Midas Club. Since you have been to the location before, we would like you to keep watch for the next two days. Gear will be sent tonight for you to use.

Thank you for your participation,

Mr. Robert Grey

The Midas Club was a bad place, Evan knew. It was full of wolves and danger lurked around every corner, but she knew a few wolves who had cooperated for the agency. She sighed and picked up the second letter, also addressed to her.

Evan,

You should know that we haven’t stopped looking for you. We will find you and kill you at any cost unless you return the Medallion of the Luna.

The letter was not signed with a name.
