Aubrey (Liam's cousin)'S POV

I woke up this morning with the biggest headache. I don't even know what happened last night. I rolled over to see Niall still in bed with me. "Niall." I mumbled. He didn't move. "Niall." Still nothing "Niall!!!!!!" third times a charm because he jumped straight up "What?!" He yelled in a stern voice but I knew he was joking. "You gotta leave before Liam gets home." Hi, I'm Aubrey Anderson, Liam Payne's Cousin. Basically he doesn't want of the boys and I to do because he's over protective. Ya, I know why you're thinking. Why is the cousin telling you what to do? Well long story short, My parents died in a car accident and I'm an only child and Liam was the closest relative. So here I am, in Liam's house. This happened a year ago and I'm still not quite used to the fact they're gone. Sometimes I'll try to call them to see if they'll answer. "You ok?" Niall asked while slipping on his pants. "Ya, I, um, I'm going to meet my old friend at Nando's if you want to come?" I asked half hoping he would say no because I haven't seen her in forever. But I would feel like a bad secret girlfriend if I didn't try you know? "As much as I seriously want to go to Nando's, I promised Liam it would be a FIFA day." I nodded trying to cover up my smile of relief. "And I think you and we would like to be alone for a bit, ya?" Niall asked wiggling his eyebrows up and down while searching for his shirt. I giggled and got out of bed to start getting ready for the day. "Got to go beautiful, don't tell Liam I was here." Niall said while picking me up and spinning me. He set me back down and gave me a kiss on the cheek and rushed out the door before Liam got home.

I got up and walked to my closet. What does a girl wear on a sunny day when going out to lunch with an old friend. Perfect. I grabbed jean high waisted shorts with a bright yellow blouse. I tucked it in a pulled on my favorite sandals and a ring that had a sun on it. I curled my hair lightly and wiped on some lipgloss and applied other makeup. About an hour later, I was done.

I was walking out the house door when Harry got out of his car on the driveway . He looked really nervous and guilty as he opened the door for a really pretty girl. She was short, thin, brunette and had green eyes. I felt kind of self conscious because I was just like everybody else that lived here, tall, blonde hair, brown eyes, thin. I wasn't special like she was. She was so pretty, was did Harry look guilty? Oh no. Did he get her pregnant? Oh well, guess we'll find out later. I got in my baby blue bug and drove to Nando's.

I walked in and immediately saw my gorgeous friend. Carmel. Carmel Carson. I met her in school when we were younger but she dropped out to be a dancer. Her name matches her looks. Carmel colored hair. Light brown eyes. Tall and thin, like a dancer. she was wearing a Gold flower in her hair and loose blouse tucked into her shorts. Her hair was in the usual ballerina bun.

"Carmel!" I called out. She turned around and her eyes widened and she squealed. "Aubrey! I haven't seen you in forever! How are you?" I've never been to Nando's but why are we at a booth if it's just Carmel and I? "I'm great how about you?" She didn't know I lived with Liam and that's what I'm planning on telling her today. She didn't even know my parents died. She's always busy with her dancing, which I completely understand. "I'm good and I hope you don't mind but I brought my boyfriend along, he's in the bathroom. I met him yesterday and we really hit it off." That's why we're at a booth. I nodded.

A couple minutes later Louis at down next to Carmel and have her a quick kiss on the cheek. My first reaction was 'Why did it take Louis so long to pee." but my second reaction was 'LOUIS?!' On the inside I was shocked and confused but on the outside I looked calm and collective. "Louis?" I asked. They're dating? "aubrey?" Carmel looked confused. "Do you two know each other?" we both nodded slowly still staring at each other in shock. "How?" oh no. I really didn't want to tell her this way. "Oh um MyParentsDiedInACarAccidentAndTheLiamPayneHappenedToBeMyClosestRelative." I said super fast. Her mouth dropped. "And you didn't tell me?!" I kind of felt guilty but let's think, if it was her, would she want to talk about it? "How could you Aubs? We tell each other Everything. Everything!" I closed my eyes and tried to blink back tears. "This isn't all my fault. If you weren't always busy with dance, maybe you'd bother to ask what's new." I said defending myself. Louis sat there wide eyes as he didn't know what to do. "Me too busy? Looks like you've been too busy using these boys for their fame and money!" That's when the first tear fell down my face. "My parents died Carm! They died! On my birthday! I'm not using Liam or any of them for their money! I'm with them because I had no where else to go! My parents were dead! My grandparents. Dead. Aunts, uncles? Dead. The only person I had was Liam!! So I had no choice ok?! So thanks so much for thinking I'm using them for their money!" By now tears were falling down my face nonstop and Louis was telling her that it's fine she did nothing wrong that I'm just freaking out. Really? Just freaking out? You met Carmel Yesterday! And your helping her not me?! Good thing we were in a private room because everyone would be staring at us by now. I looked at Carmel and she looked shocked and guilty. "Whatever, I thought you would understand." I said trying to calm myself down. "Aubrey I-" I held my had up to stop her and looked over at Louis, the boy I was best friends with besides Niall and obviously Liam. "I hate you Louis." I mumbled before grabbing my stuff and running out the door.

I got in my car and raced home. Breaking the speed limit majorly. When I got home Liam and Niall's car was in the driveway. I ran in the house and straight to my room earning confused looks from Niall and Liam. I slammed the door and fell onto my bed crying.

I cried for about 10 more minutes before something caught my eye.
