Aight so you're writing a story and an eclipse happens. What does it mean? I like to imagine symbolically a shadow or scourge comes to your characters life and it's mesmerizing but evil things happen in the darkness, meanwhile the few but brilliant people ( the halo or corona) appear for just the right amount of time to save the people of your little plot but this is a brief thing. Write what happens when everything good and bad, goes away and all that's left standing is the background characters.
