Crash!!

A van flew through the air and landed upside down on a pickup truck. The streets were in chaos. Civilians were running in panic, news crews were rolling up on the scene. Streets were torn apart and rubble was everywhere. Standing in the middle of the chaos was a villain, one that didn't look all that powerful, until they showed off their pure force with their quirk called vector, named so after their villain alias.

One news woman and her cameraman were brave enough to get close to the wreckage to get a clear shot of the villain as their semi visible arms threw cars in every which direction. She brought the mic up to her mouth, showing the new station logo as she directed her attention to the cameraman.

"You've got the shot, right?" she confirmed. Getting a nod from the cameraman and the signal from him that he was rolling she started speaking. "Good afternoon, Tokyo. I'm Mikashi reporting live from the scene of the villain Vector wreaking havoc here in Downtown Shinjuku." She and the cameraman ducked as a car went flying over their heads. "As you can see, he's been thrown into a rage and there doesn't seem to be anything that can calm him down. We haven't seen any heroes on the scene yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they show up to save the day."

At that moment, spires of ice erupted from the ground, moving quickly towards the villain who was gearing up to throw yet another car in the direction of the reporter.

"Strike that, it looks like our first hero just appeared on the scene," the woman said.

She turned around to see a young man with red and white hair in a navy blue hero costume walk up. His right side was covered in ice that was rapidly melting as the left side was alight with flames.

"It's Shoto!" she said, sounding more than a little excited.

The young hero walked through the halls of his house, ignoring his cats that begged for his attention knowing full well that he was following his daily routine. Todoroki padded along the polished floor until he reached a sliding door. Quietly opening it, he stepped in.

The room beyond the door was barren, empty of any furniture. The floor was padded, a far cry from the hardwood flooring in the rest of house. Setting down a water bottle and a towel, Todoroki started running through hand to hand combat drills, his daily workout.

He had just barely started when his phone started ringing. Sighing, he stopped his exercise and walked over to where he left it, tapping the screen and putting it to his ear.

"Hello?" he said.

"Shoto!" came the voice of one of his sidekicks. "There's a villain calling himself Vector tearing up downtown Shinjuku!"

"On my way," he said.

Without another word he hung up his phone. He left the training room and immediately walked to where he kept his costume. In a matter of seconds, he was dressed and ready to go. As he walked to the door, he bent down and scratched his cats behind their ears before he finally walked off to save the day.

He always has time for his cats.

It didn't take horribly long to get to downtown Shinjuku as he didn't live very far, but when he got there, the scene was utter chaos. The street was broken and bits of asphalt were scattered everywhere. Cars were upturned and smashed, some on top of others. The sounds of scared screaming and car alarms and news reporters filled his ears. As he scanned the chaos, he finally found the source of it all.
