When Life Gives You Lemons

Prologue

Hi. I'm Maichelle and I live in an orphanage with 8 other people. My Mistress, Mrs. Hins (who would marry that old hag??) George, Tom, Marie, James, Silas, and yuck and yuckier. Kayla and Skyla. Now, to tell you a bit about me. I am 15 years old and I hate it here. I have long brown hair that goes down to just above my tail bone. My friends are James, Marie, Silas and George. I HATE Kayla and Skyla. I share a room with Marie who is 4 years old.

Everyone goes out at night and I sometimes take Marie to the candy shop. Then, when I told Tom that I had a crush on him. Somehow Kayla found out, and got really mad and started calling me a whore and slut. Like, "Hey love you too..." Me and her are sisters. Then Kayla (yuckier) told Mistress about what we did and she gave us the strap. Kayla thought that because she brought us to justice she wouldn't get it. But she did. Mistress asked her if she went out with us. She said no. And you never lie to Mistress, the truth got out the next day and she had to stay in the cellar for a whole night with out food. She got water though. Too bad. I hoped that it would be longer... I love my sister SO much.
