As soon as she came to Camp Half-blood, Alex Ryder fell in love, her deep,mesmerising sea-green eyes,her black hair shone in the light of the sun. The campers gave her a tour of camp, and put her in Hermes cabin." Hi! My name is Pearl Jackson! What's yours??" She asked smiling at Alex. Alex thought he was going to faint. "My name is Alex Ryder. Son of Zeus." Alex said his voice almost shaking. "Umm... do you know where we keep the weapons?? I need one." Pearl asked again grinning. Alex gestured her to follow him. The dagger that was perfect for her was six inches,celestial bronze blade and a leather hilt. Alex looped it around Pearl's jeans waist and didn't see her flush. At dinner while eating, a brilliant green light shone from Pearl's forehead. A green trident glowed faintly in the light of the fire. Everyone stared in awe,then Chiron stepped forward. "Hail Pearl Jackson, daughter of Poseidon. !" That night she slept at the Poseidon cabin. The next morning while eating breakfast a brilliant l8ght flooded the camp. A dark figure loomed over the pavilion. "Pearl Jackson and Alex Ryder!! Step forward!!!" The voice boomed make the earth tremble. We stepped toward the dark figure and it minimized. "You both shall go for a quest to find my pitchfork!! It was stolen from me a few days ago!! And what better people to find it for me, the children of my brothers!! So what do you say son of Zeus?!?!" Hades said grinning,flashing his gleaming teeth. Pearl stepped towards him. "We accept the quest. Lord Hades. We will leave right away!!" Pearl's lips trembled from the chill morning air. We packed ambrosia,nectar and few weapons. The oracle told us to go east,and we would find a clue to the pitchfork. Someone would die,and come back to life. We headed east,and reached a forest at the evening. We camped for the night. "While eating ambrosia we heard a loud roars, as the sound got louder two cyclops came into view. Stubby legs and hands,greasy nails and ripped loin cloths. We unsheathed our sword and dagger and surged forward, one of the cyclops swept his hand left to right and hit us in the stomach. We groaned,and two hands grabbed us. Squeezing until we fainted. Pearl opened her eyes and found her hands tied behind a large trunk,a piece of cloth wedged in her mouth, she looked to her left and saw Alex tied up the same.
She  tried to speak but no sound came out. 4 dracaene slithered toward Alex , untied him pushed him to his feet and quickly tied his hands behind his back. Two held him firmly while the other two slithered toward Pearl,did the same and pushed them forward. They tied Pearl to a silver post, and untied Alex. "Alex vs four dracaene!!! Let the match begin!!!!!" A deep voice boomed. Alex took out his sword and ran forward he managed to kill one dracaene. The other three hissed in anger and hit Alex's sword arm, his sword skittering, away from his grasp. The dracaene surged forward, one punched him in the stomach he fell down gasping, it wasn't over yet, they started pounding him on the back. "Mmmphhh!!!" Pearl's voice muffled and tears streaked down her cheeks,they pounded some more. Her eyes were red and watery. Alex looked up and saw her crying, his anger rose inside like an unstoppable tide, he howled and stood up, grabbed a rock and stabbed one of the dracaene in the head, he did the same with the others and they crumpled to dust. He ran and grabbed his sword he cut both the cyclops's head. He rushed toward Pearl took out the piece of cloth and untied her,she instantly hugged him burying her face into his shirt sobbing. When they pulled away Alex pulled a strand of hair behind her ear. " when you were unconscious,i was awake and heard them talk, they were saying that the pitchfork was in Mt.Helens. let's go to  that mountain."
They found their bags and surprisingly two pegasi. "Can you take us to Mt.Helens??" Pearl asked the two pegasi, they nickered. "We don't eat pegasi. Yes we'll give doughnuts." Pearl sounded exasperated.  We sat on top and they soared towards the sky in a spiral .
