You can choose ignore this world,
full of pain and anguish,
but it shall stare at you,
not hiding in the shadows,
rather there in plain view,
a pile of dirty washing
that only grows larger,
you see it there staring,
you add to it,
always ignoring it.
You can't change it,
but you must acknowledge it,
look it in the eye,
don't claim innocence,
claiming 'it has nothing to do with me'.
admit responsibility,
don't shy away from the truth,
only that can set you free,
stop being ignorant,
only children are innocent.
