Blurred.
Nothing he saw or was currently seeing was there; it was distorted to the point where everything was just multi-coloured blobs. However, there was the pain running through every part of his body, and there was a spot that ached more than any other.
His heart.
It felt like something was constricting it and causing each of the organ's drum to hit louder and louder, to the point it was becoming deafening, and he wanted it to stop.
He didn't want to hear or feel this strong drum in his chest.
He would've clawed at his chest, trying to rip his heart from its place if it wasn't for the binds all over his body. The glowing symbols on the paper as his arms were bound behind his back as a white cloth was wrapped around his body, similar to a straight-jacket. Thick chains were clasped to his feet, wrists, and back, not to mention the chains that hung loosely to the mussel covering his mouth. His messy red hair knotted and covering his silver eyes as he kept his head pointed to the ground, dark circles drooping underneath his eyes as he released shallow breathe. Arms and legs stiff from being in the same position for the last week, though it was hard to tell if a day had begun or ended due to the fact that the golden glow of the sun couldn't reach this far beneath the ground. So, he assumed that the rotation of the guards would hint at that the time. There had been nine rotations, so he guessed nine days.
His shoulders tense as the taps of footsteps echoed in his cell as the heavy door was hoisted open, silver eyes lifting to glare fire into the person in front of him, his gaze faltering slightly as he looked back down to the ground. He couldn't look at the figure, they hadn't done anything to stop as he was dragged to this grey and dull place.
'Hate me, despise me, don't look at me like that.'
The young Chinese woman in front of him holding her hands to her chest, slowly moving toward him as she spoke softly, her violet eyes showing worry and compassion, "I can remove the mouthpiece for the time being... But you have to not resist or fight against me when I'm removing it."
'Lenalee... Your bother is at fault for THIS.'
He jolted his head to the side, away from her hands that were reaching towards him. He thrashed against the chains that were holding him, eyes flaring like a mad animal as he released a low growl. Stigmata slowly etching themselves across his brow as his eyes bled to a dangerous gold, skin slowly shifting to an ashen grey as a dark purple shroud curled and twirled off his body. His chest heavying unevenly as Lenalee sat pressed against the wall, hands over her mouth as she slowly got to her feet and began to move closer to him. Eyes soft and scared as she slowly reached out to touch his head, the beast flinching.
'Get away! Don't touch me! DON'T TOUCH THE MONSTER!'
A deep growl left his throat as he jolted his head to the side to get her away. He didn't need her kindness, it was fake. It had to be. There was no reason for it or perhaps she was tricking him, trying to get close before she hurt or attacked him. He narrowed his golden eyes, them flaring dangerously as she wrapped her hands around his head to undo the buckle of the mussel.
'DON'T TOUCH ME FILTH! YOU'RE GONNA HURT ME! STAY AWAY!'
He tried to pull his head away, though she had a tight grip on his mussel. Lenalee released a sigh as the mussel slowly was removed from his mouth, he growled as he snapped at her with his teeth. She pulled her hands away swiftly as his lips were pulled back into a sneer, his teeth having sharpened a little more than normal standards as he lowly grated out, "Ge' the fuck awa' from meh..."
