Last Summer And Now

Chapter two- life's hard

Dear future Max-
Last night something bad happen to us.
For a while we've forgotten how cruel human can be.
The monster took something very special away from us.
But God sent angel to our rescue.
We hadn't had someone be so kind to us (besides grandma) in a long time.
He said he wanted to see us again, hopefully we see him again.

"What's that" my half sister Lina grab my notebook, "love letters again Max" she try to open it, but I jump at her back trying to bring her down so I could grab back my stuff from her.

"Lina give it back" I beg.

When she was refusing, I push her hard on the door, making her body slam harshly on it, "I told you give it back" I grab my book away from her.

I swear living in this house is like being sent to hell.
My sister bully me Everytime she get the chance.

My dad was dead and now I had to leave with my grandma, aunt, stepmom, two siblings, and my auntie son, in this small house.

Everyone had to get a job or we wouldn't be able to make it.
I had to work at a grocery store where my boss was a completely ass whole.

"What the fuck would you do that for Max?" Lina mom "Maria" shouted through her thick Espanol accent.

I shut the door up quickly, when I heard her boyfriend foot steps coming up the stairs.

"Open the door" he bang on the door.

Oh shit I needed to get outta here. I couldn't deal with him now, not after what happened last night.

I grab my backpack and slide through the window.
"You're little shit" Maria shouted when I jump down.

Fuck I hurt my leg, "I am going to kill you" she run out the house, followed by her boyfriend.

Now both Maria and her boyfriend was running after me, yelling swear words like, "fucking fagot" Maria say.
"Once I get a hold of your nigga ass, I'mma fuck you up" Martin shouted.

I turn to a street to caught my breath when I notice they're not running after me no more.
I let out a heavy sigh, trying to hold back the tears.

I didn't even bother taking the bus, I made my way to work on my feet.

As I'm approaching the grocery store I notice the angel that save my life last night.

I was having a battle in my head on if I should go say hi or not.

"Max" he shouted my name, as he walk up to me.
"Bobby" he said, "remember me" did he think I would forget him, what kind of person would I be if I forget that sexy smile.

"Who could ever forget you?" I flirt, and it was working cause he was turning red.

"Well I thought you would've forgot, since it was dark"
Well he couldn't stop blushing and there was no need to even try to hide.

"Well I'm pretty sure I got a pretty good look of you last night" I started, " you're just not as tall as you appeared to be last night"

"Sorry to disappoint you" he apologized.

"I'm not disappoint" I shrugged, "I'm more like... relief...cause I had this image in my head that you were this tall scary guy..." I paused,"but you're not"

He laughed putting his hand over his heart, "maybe we should go grab something to eat if you don't mind".

"I don't mind" I bit my bottom lip lightly, "but I'm kinda have to go to work right now".

"Well I could pick you up after work" he said. "And maybe I could get your number"

I grab his phone and put my number on it, "see later" I smile.

"Bye" he turn and go, looking back glancing at me as he walk.

"Who was that?" My friend also my coworker "Merissa" ask.

I roll my eyes, trying not to go all happy mode, "just some guy I met at the party last night".

"He's cute" she bit her lips.

"He just ask me out on a date" I said.

"Why all the cute ones have to be gay" she intertwined our hands.

"Maybe is because dick is better than pussy" I joke.

"Shut up" she push me lightly.

Work was the usual, rude customer, and my boss being a like usual.
It surprisedly went by fast, I thank the Lord as I made my out the store.

"You're finally out" a handsome stranger that go by the name Bobby.

"You scared me" I smile, "I didn't think you was gonna be this early".

"I wanted to make a good first impression" he walk closer.

"Is this like a date?" I ask.

"It whatever you want it to be" he say ad we get in his car.

I look at him and smile, "what if I wanted it to a date?"

"Then that exactly what it would be" he took his eye from the road to look for a brief second and smile.

"You look sexy when you smile" I flirt.

His face turn red, "so I don't look sexy when I don't smile".

"You do" I bit my lips slowly, "but you look better when you give me that smile".

"Which one?" He take a glance at me, "I'm told that I have multiple smile".

I roll my eyes, "the one you do exactly for me'.

By now his whole face was red, even his ears was red.
I seductively place my hand on his lap, to get a feel of his body temperature and it was hot.

It made feel proud that I could make him like that.
