"What?" I said, and he looked away quickly embarrassed now.

"You can sit down you know. I don't bite...hard at least." Oh jeez. My face burned up right on the spot and he laughed. Instead I went to the foot of the bed and sat down in spite of his offer. I was looking up at the tv from a weird angle, but what else was I supposed to do? This was all so awkward and weird for me.

"Since you're going to be stubborn then, would you be so kind as to turn off the lights? The main light switch." He directed sweetly. I stood up quicker than I intended but took my time walking towards the light switch. He was still on his phone, typing and apparently thinking hard about something. My phone was still in my pocket along with the charger and suddenly my phone chirped at me cheerfully. I flipped the switch and was immediately surrounded by darkness except for the one lamp that shone brightly. Finally the home screen for Netflix loaded up. That only took a hundred years! I took my phone out and looked at the message. It was from Twitter. He had just posted a tweet. I looked up at him and a smug grin was on his face. I narrowed my eyes suspiciously and looked at the full post.

"Why is it so hard to understand that you don't always sleep with someone but you can sleep with them?" Ohh dear lord. No context, nothing. I was tempted to ask him what he meant, but instead I focused on trying to find a movie. The problem was that by the time I found what I was looking for, I no longer want to watch it because I had to scroll through a million things just to get what I wanted. Why isn't there a better design for that? Hey, that's a good conversation starter. I might as well not mention the tweet anyway since that would probably make things weirder.

"How do you feel about the design of Netflix?" I blurted out to Jordan who had now set his phone down and had plugged it in to charge. For once, I felt relief. Why? Why was I so relieved to see he wasn't attached to his phone? It's not like we're a thing. Are we? He crossed his arms across his chest and I couldn't help myself. My eyes immediately defaulted to staring at his forearms. Was he trying to kill me? Either way, I seriously felt like I could die at any moment from just trying to contain my excitement alone.

"Honestly, it probably could be better. But what do I know?" Jordan shrugged and I scoffed.

"Hey, you're the one who has done all those videos on crappy design. You should be a master of all designs by now!" I teased and finally found the movie I wanted. My back was against the edge of the bed and I just felt good sitting on the rug. He chuckled and I looked back up at the screen. Why was I so nervous?

"True, I did learn quite a bit from those videos. Which I've been meaning to ask...how long have you been watching? Just out of curiosity." Immediately I was put back on the spot. That kind of question always made me nervous, although I knew he wouldn't judge me for my answer. I blushed purely out of instinct and played with the hem of my shirt. It also just occurred to me that I had a significant amount of cleavage happening right at the moment. Oops. I hiked my shirt way up and sneaked a glance at him to see he was once more looking right at me. God dang it. Oh well.

"About a year and a half. It hasn't been very long." I admitted reluctantly.

"That's not bad. Fairly new. Well thanks for sticking around so far. What's been your favorite video so far? If you don't mind me asking that is." I looked back up at the ceiling and even sitting here it made me feel slightly dizzy. I had to think about it for some time before answering.

"I don't know. I guess I pretty much like everything. Although I do have to say those music videos are quite impressive! Well and the Reddit stuff too I suppose." I looked back at the paused movie, hoping to watch the movie sooner rather than later. I wasn't really in the mood to converse right at the moment.

"Huh. Not bad. Those do tend to do really well. So I know I've asked a lot of questions. I'm sorry, but one last one. I promise. Do you have a favorite song right now?" His genuine curiosity was cute and to leave his question unanswered now would be rude.

"Honestly, I listen to so much music I don't even know if I can have one. Although I do really like 'Ignite' by the artist Stahl. It always puts me into a good mood without any question. Well...and your stuff too." Since we're already admitting things, might as well get it all out now. Except for his tweet. At that point, he was practically hopping up and down on the bed with excitement.

"Really? You like my music?" Oh Jordan. His shock couldn't have been any clearer.

"Yeah, they're awesome! They're my go to when I drive anywhere." he cleared his throat, clearly trying to calm himself down.

"Oh, uh thanks. That means a lot. Really. I suppose. I've talked your ear off enough as it is. Ready?" He asked me, probably meaning to play the movie. I didn't mind the sudden change of topic and I was ready to fall asleep at any point. I tried to force myself to stay awake, but I could feel myself start to slip down onto the cool floor, my eyes starting to close slowly. Soon, I welcomed the darkness that awaited behind my eyes and I fell into a deep slumber quicker than I thought.
