Chapter 5>What was that?

The next morning was quite awkward for both Thapki and Bihaan. He woke up late in the morning with a throbbing headache and bandaged head. She was just thinking about his words. Was he lying really?

Anyways, it was the time of their private jet to take off. They bid them bye to everyone and were departed to the new place. Nuku Heva, French Polynesia. Balwinder asked them to rest and will attend meeting in next morning. Both of them agreed and then halted to their respective rooms. They weren't staying in hotel but in their own farm house.

It was almost the next day but both of them hadn't yet talked. It was quite awkward even though they had given same room. His words of last night were echoing in her head. While he was trying hard to remind what could he had disclosed in front of her!!!

The weather was cosy so she went outside to have some fresh air. This lone time was her need for today. The day was really hectic for her!! She was staring at stars standing at the balcony... what turn has her life taken!! She's married to the person she wanted to!! But... but for revenge..... only revenge. Does he really has feelings for her? Or was he  seriously lying as always? The weather turned cool and she rubs her arms folding her hands tightly on her chest. That was the least thing she was bothered about... She wanted to find out whether her heart is right or is it her mind? Actually she don't!! She just wanted to run away..... Run far away from the lessons of love and life.

He searched for her in the whole house. There she is!! In the moonlight staring at the stars. She looks so beautiful.... her glittery eyes filled of many queries, many questions, many answers and many revenge!! He's mesmerised by the way she's in her deep thought. He grabs out a shawl and slowly steps towards her. He unknowingly pulls her out of the chain of thoughts by just standing behind her. He too stands staring at the  moon. They remain silent for a while.

"We didn't had talked today" said Bihaan trying to start the conversation before it becomes too awkward. He hands her the shawl and she looks at him. What had happened? Why is he behaving in such a way? Is he planning something big? "Yeah right" Thapki fakes a smile taking the shawl. "But why do you care? Who are you to care?" she yells and this doesn't surprises him!! Bihaan knew there's something bothering her. "Who told you I care?...I just came to ask you for my coffee" he groaned. "Am I your servant?" Thapki replies yelling sarcastically. This hurt him a bit cause when they were in deeply love.... she loved to make coffee for him. But today both were there for revenge!! There was a different kind of silence. "Fine... Baby. Come to sleep." Bihaan orders. "I don't want to!!" she replies rudely. Although she knows that he's scared of being alone at night. That's why he always made himself involve in work so that he could skip the night. He wanted to ask for her company.... But again..... They were their for revenge!! So why will they care for each other like before? No ways.... Their ways had parted so far!! He angrily left for his room as he was feeling a bit sleepy. She sighed.

There's a different loneliness in the air.... As some secrets wanted to disclose themselves before her. It was a horrible feeling when she felt goosebumps. She sensed something.... something horrible!! She too decided to step to her room. He was working on laptop sitting on sofa. Ignoring him, she lied on her side of bed.

It was 2 a.m. when her sleep was interrupted by some unusual noise. Rubbing her eyes lazily, she slowly walked towards the window and glanced towards the balcony. The scene was just horrible..... there was a creature.... A human but an animal... Or don't know!! It was jumping from tree to tree. She's scared and even screams a bit, not so loud though. After relaxing herself by taking few fast breaths, she glanced the whole room. He was slept on sofa itself. How innocent he looks in sleep!! The laptop still on his lap. She moved to him "Bihaan..." said she to wake him up. But he seems in his deep slumber. She decides to ignore him but remembers about him giving her the shawl. "Ugh. I can't take any of your kindness on me" Thapki fumes thinking. "Bihaan ..." she shakes him. He was still in his slumber. She removes the laptop and keeps the pillow properly but alas....this interrupts his sleep. He opens his eyes and is shocked to find her in an awkward position meanwhile she's embarrassed as well. "What are you doing?" He gets up. "Sleep properly" she orders trying to sound normal.

She wanted to tell him about what she just saw!! But it'd be a bad idea!! Vani Mittal can never sound as an help seeker!! "Glancing your sleeping husband is a bad habit" Bihaan smirks standing up near her ear. This grabbed her out of thoughts with an irk. "Who the hell told you that?" she fumes following him on bed. He sighs ignoring her and managing the blanket of his side. "Don't be in your illusion" she yells trying to make him concentrate on her. He simply lays under his blanket. She remains standing at the same position in amazement. "Ahh... Good night... Baby" Bihaan winks peeping out of blanket. Her blood was boiling now and she wanted to kill him right there. Suddenly her phone beeps and she finds her mother's call. She hurriedly picks it up and talks stepping outside the room. The network was low so she had to be louder. After few minutes she hungs up and decides to sleep.

He had slept on his side while she sat on her side and acted to press his neck. "No please" Bihaan murmurs and she suddenly removes her hands. "Stay here" He murmurs again. "Sshhhh... I'm here" Thapki shushes him caressing his hair. "No...No please" He murmurs in tensed voice. "Sshhhh.... Relax. I'm with you" she says gently holding his hand. He holds her hand and sleeps now.

What was that?! She was surprised at herself. Yes she knew that he's scared of being alone and he murmurs sometimes as he had witnessed a painful life. But now!! Now situation was different. She wasn't his Thapki anymore. They were there for revenge!! She's no one now to console him or calm him. She's just a thing he had used. A lone tear passed and slowly she decides to detach her hand out of his grip. But he was stubborn in his sleep as well. She was just irritated of her life. As the day was tiring she, soon departed in her slumber.

The next day Thapki was quiet all day. Bihaan noticed and thought to cheer her up. But why? He was the only one who wanted her to cry but today he wanted to make her smile. He just ignored his minds interference and decided to go with his heart.

While they were attending meeting she again saw something strange.... something was there beside the tree far away but visible to her.... the creature different type of creature...  was scary he just passed a smile to her and that was enough to scare her off. Thapki screamed louder this time and he rushed to her ignoring the meeting. "What happened??" Mr. Rathore asks while everyone rushes to her. Bihaan made her drink some water. Meanwhile Mr. Rathore asked "Are you fine what happened my dear??" after inhaling few breath Thapki spoke. "T....th...there was so...som..something I saw.... I saw.... behind that... that tree.... tree" she huffs.
