'Wait up guys!' Shouted Skylar, 'Why don't we go in this shop?'

'Nah, come on, we're going to Costa. I'm pretty thirsty, plus, I owe you a drink, remember?' Michelle answered. And she was right, Michelle did owe Skylar a drink, you see, a couple of weeks ago Skylar had lent Michelle 10 quid to buy a handbag.

So, the four girls all headed over to Costa. Suddenly, Skylar could feel her sleeves slowly rolling up. She stopped suddenly which made the girls turn around.

'Are you alright?' Bobbie asked slightly concerned.

'Yeah, um... my shoe was just ... falling off. Go ahead, I'll be right there.' Skylar explained reassuringly. She bent down and 'tied' up her converse as the others started walking to their destination. Once Skylar's sleeves were pulled back down she went to catch up with the others. Turning around a corner Skylar saw something that caught her eye. It wasn't a new hoodie from Jack Wills, it wasn't the newest BB cream from Maybellien. It was actually something that hardly ever caught her eye. In fact, it wasn't even an 'it.' But instead, a boy.

Skylar immediately felt her heart start to flutter and she could feel her legs getting all giddy. Was it excitement, anguish, happiness? Or had she fallen for this guy who she only just laid eyes on. 'Snap out of it, it's just a guy, he would never fall for a sad girl. Boys don't go after sad girls, remember?' Skylar thought to her self. But there was just something about him that made Skylar forget about all of her problems and just want to know this guy. He had amazing these amazing eyes that glistened under the sun, they were a type of hazel-grey, depending on we're the light was coming from. His brown hair was styled perfectly into a quiff without a single strand astray. He was wearing a white t-shirt which was sported with a black blazer, black jeans and some navy blue vans. His smile was gorgeous. It was as if just seeing that smile could make anyone's day immediately better. And his teeth were lined perfectly, all as white as snow.

There was a shout amongst the shops and the boy turned around, skimming the crowds to se who it was. Then his eyes stopped fluttering around and they landed on Skylar. Nothing happened. Skylar felt as if the world had stopped spinning around her and all that was happening was the eye contact she and that boy were making. Not knowing what to do, Skylar brushed her hand through her hair, trying to look cool but then a big gush of wind flew through the plaza and messed her hair up even more. Slightly annoyed at this she pushed her hair behind her ears and quickly got a glimpse of the boy. He gave her a cheeky grin, chuckled and walked off.

'Great' Skylar mumbled out loud, knowing that she has blown any possible chances with him. Suddenly she realised that she remembered that she was supposed to meet the others in Costa and had agreed to herself that she had spent long enough 'tying her shoe laces.' Jogging off, Skylar tried to get the image of the guy out of her mind but for some reason, the few glimpses of him kept on haunting her. Neither in good or bad way.
