4. Crushed By a Crush

Lisa's P.O.V.
He gets down on one knee. "Lisa Michelle Cimorelli, will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" He says to me "Yes. YES YES YES!" I scream and run into his arms. "I love you so much" I whisper into his ear.

Suddenly I'm being shaken awake. "Lise wake up. Warren made us breakfast!" Katherine says as she rips the cozy blanket off of my body. "UGHHH. Five more minutes" I whine back to her. "Ok ok. But only five" She says back to me. She walks out of the room. Probably back to Warren in the kitchen. 'Lisa you cant keep dreaming about him. He will never like you. It will never happen' I think to myself. I know that it would never work, but a girl can dream, right? I wish he was staying with us longer though. I barely get to see him and I love him so much. More than anyone would ever know. I pretend that I'm ok. I pretend that I'm fine with just being friends, but in reality I'm not. I need him. I want him so mu- "Lisa your five minutes are up!!!! Come to the kitchen" Warren screams snaping me back into reality. "Coming!" I scream back. I quickly fix my hair and make sure I look good, even though I'm just wearing pajamas. I run into the kitchen to see three plates sitting on the table. "You don't have to cook breakfast you know" I tell him. "Well since you guys are letting me stay here, it's the least I can do" You just being here is amazing. You don't have to do one thing, is what I should've said but instead i responded with "Nah it's fine bro. Whatcha wanna do today" "Ok then" Katherine says with a chuckle. Warren starts to laugh too. The way his face crinkles when he laughs and those gorgeous blue eyes, I might just die if I don't get to see them again. "I don't have anything in mind. Do you guys have any ideas?" Warren says back. I take a bite into the delicious pancake he made me. Yum these are good! "Nope" Katherine says. "Umm how about we go out. Like a date....UHH I mean friend-date. Duhhh" I stutter quickly. LISA WHAT ARE YOU THINKING. HE ISNT GOING TO WANT TO EVEN HANG OUT WITH YOU!!!!!!!! KATHERINE'S GOING TO FIND OUT TOO! "Ok sounds like fun!" Warren says with a smile.Thank goodness he said yes! We finish up breakfast and then I go get dressed.Once I reach my room, I let a giant smile form on my face. Katherine, Warren, and I are going out. I soon start to hurry and get dressed. I choose out skinny jeans, a red and black flannel, white sneakers, and a black hat. I decided to go casual but fancy too. I put on some makeup and walk out of my room. "Warren are you ready.....Oh and Kath" I scream down the hall. Lise you gotta stop! "Yup Im by the front door" I hear his sweet, dreamy voice. "Me too" Kath says. "Ok I'm coming" I say. I literally run down the hall. "So where do you guys want to go?" Warren asks. We should go somewhere romantic. Somewhere that can make him realize that I'm perfect for him. "How about Starbucks" I say. I mentally slap myself in the face because that isn't a romantic place at all. "Sure" Katherine and Warren says in unison. We walked out to the car. Katherine gets into the drivers seat and Warren gets into the passenger seat. I'm stuck sitting in the back seat. At least I'm in the seat right behind Warren's and I can smell his phenomenal cologne. Katherine starts to drive to Starbucks, which happens to be only 8 minutes away. We start some small talk and before I know it we're at Starbucks. I just can't get him out of my mind. He's so cute, smart, funny, and talented. "So whatcha guys getting to drink" Warren says to us. "Probably a Caramel Frapp" Katherine says. "I'm getting a Triple, Venti, Half Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato." I tell him quickly. It's a long order but it's the best. "Nice. I'm just going to get the same thing as Katherine" He says. Ummm ok. Usually he gets the same thing as me when we are out by ourselves. What if he... Lisa stop over analyzing everything. "Lisa hurry up" Kath says as they are half way in the Starbucks. I was lost in my own thoughts again. I sprint to the door and go in. We wait on the line, which only has two people in front of us. Katherine starts to ask Warren about photography and I quickly jump into the conversation. "Next!" The girl behind the counter shouts. "Can we have two caramel frapps and a Triple, Venti, Half Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato" I say with a smile. "ok that will be ready in about 5 minutes" She says back. Warren decides to pay, he's such a gentleman. We told him not to but he insisted. We find a table that seats three and sit down. "Guy I'll be right back I have to go to the bathroom" Katherine says and walks to the back of the coffee shop where the bathroom is. "Lise I need to ask you something" Warren says to me quietly. HES GONNA ASK ME OUT. OMG YES YES YES. "YES!" I say excitedly. "Well I'm glad your so enthusiastic about me asking you something" Warren says laughing. Hmmm maybe he's trying to me more romantic about asking me out. "Well there's this girl I like, and I want to know how I should ask her out" Warren says to me. HES GONNA ASK ME I KNEW IT! I know how to answer this though. "Well I think we all know who this 'girl' is and I know the perfect way to ask her out. You should come right out and say it. And I definitely think she's the perfect girl for you." I finish. Finally! He's going to ask me out and my dreams will be fulfilled! Suddenly Katherine walks back to the table. "what did I miss?" Katherine asks us. "Here I go" Warren says under his breath. "Would you make me the happiest guy and come on a date with me...Katherine" The words escape Warren's mouth as I feel myself starting to tremble. "Yes! Warren I'd thought you'd never ask!" Katherine says with a beaming smile. "Two caramel frapps and Triple, Venti, Half Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato" A barista from behind the counter shouts. Whwhat?? He asked Katherine out. The love of my life... I quickly run and grab my drink off the counter and leave the place without even looking back. I feel the tears start to form in my eyes. I just run as far away from the shop as possible...
