Alex's P.O.V.
When we got back from dinner we watched Twin Peaks. This was the first time I had ever seen it but Dan insisted we watch it. We were watching it on the tour bus so Dan had to convince the other guys to leave so we had some privacy. As we started to sit down I tripped on the small carpet around the couch, and Dan caught me. We just stayed in that position for a while, until the show started,then I moved back up to the couch.
Turns out, Twin Peaks became my favorite show,so Dan and I stayed up all night and ended up finishing the season. 2 months had gone by since we met and I think I was ready to date him.
"Can you pause the show real quick?"I asked.
"Sure, what did you want to tell me?"He said. I think he knew what I was going to say.
"I'm ready to go out with you,ya know, if you still want to."I said kind of quietly.A smile started creeping onto his face and then he wrapped me in a hug. Was pretty sure this meant yes,but I hadn't dated in a while so I wasn't sure.
"Of corse!! I was trying to get to know you better so we could go out!!"He almost yelled.He leaned over and kissed me on the cheek and I felt a tingle go down my spine.
As the night went on, we talked and talked. It was around 3 in the morning before we were able to fall asleep, and we ended up staying on the couch. When I woke up, Dan was staring at me smiling, and I was pretty sure he had another suprize for me.
"Why are you staring at me?"I asked
"Oh,I was just admiring your beauty!"He said. I was still tired and was about to fall back asleep when I heard a knock on the door. I went to answer the door when Dan came up behind me and said,"I'll get it, you go back to sleep."
"OK thanks!"I said as I walked back to the couch. I started to fall back into the world of sleep when I heard a voice I had known for years. "Emily?"
"Alex?!"she said really loudly."I haven't seen you in forever!I didn't know you were here!" Dan invited her in and she cam' over and sat down on the couch with me.
"So, why were you in the neighborhood? Were you visiting someone?" I asked.
"No,actually I moved here last summer. How about you?"she asked.
"I went to the Bastille concert the other night and met Dan here, now we are going out!"I said back. A big smile crept across her face and I could tell she was about to ask me something wierd.
"Do you think you could get me hooked up with Kyle? I have a huge crush on him!" She asked.
"I could try, uh Dan? Do you think we could bring Emily with us tomorrow to see the guys?"
"Sure!well pick you up at 5 tomorrow night!" Dan said.
"Yay! Thanks guys!!" She said happily.
