i walked into my dorm. my little brother, jungkook, sat on the couch playing video games.

"hey." he mumbled.

"hey kookie." i replied quietly before going into the kitchen. i found it nice that the school let us dorm together.

"oh yeah jimin, the school is splitting us." he muttered again, i sighed, 'and this is why you can't have nice things jimin.' I thought to myself before seeing a paper on the counter; park jimin - omega dorm 3. jeon jungkook - alpha/beta cross dorm 7.

"didn't dad stay in a,b cross dorm 7?" i asked, thinking back to when our parents met at the school.

"yeah, then he was moved to a,b cross dorm 3."

"right, anyway, do you know who you're with?"

"upper class men, that's all i know." jungkook replied, before turning off his game and coming over to the counter, "you have to go to the student office to pick up your key to your new dorm."

"oh great, what time is it now? i might be able to make it."

"it's 2:30, but i doubt they'll be open past 4."

"well then i'll beat the clock, go check out your new dorm kiddo." i finished, and went to leave when he stopped me.

"why were you close to an alpha today? you smell like cinnamon." he asked, his eyes going darker than usual, alpha's were very protective of their families.

"i fell and he helped me pick up my books-"

"what do you have on you that's his?" jungkook shot back, cutting me off.

"jungkook, it's okay."

"i just don't want you to get knotted jimin, some alpha's are savages, they will do it as soon as they smell you. the last thing we need is you pregnant, or even worse, marked by an alpha." he stated concerningly.

"okay jungkook, i know and i'm careful." i replied holding his hand. all he did was sigh before walking out.

i entered the dorm tired, and hungry, taehyung was sitting on the couch.

"hey yoongi." he said, smiling. i shot him a shy smile before taking off my shoes, then stopping; the shoelace was missing on my right shoe.

"fuck." i whispered under my breath.

"hey guys!" hoseok yelled hopping down the stairs, "we're getting another dorm buddy!"

"really? is he coming later?" tae asked, hobi just smiled.

"he should be here any minute." i rolled my eyes and made a sandwich.

a knock could be heard on the door as hobi jumped. "hi!" he sang as he pulled the boy in, he was very well built. he bowed to us but kept eye contact with me.

"hello, my name is jeon jungkook, and i'm a freshman."

"you're a freshman?! you're huge!" tae yelled.

he blushed slightly before hobi spoke up.

"tae and i have to go pick up a few things from the store, you two boys can bond~" he sang before dragging taehyung out with him.
