Hours before the meeting...
I sighed. My life was boring. Sooooo boring. Actually, saying life was boring would be an understatement. It's just not that exciting anymore.
But let me introduce myself first. Hi. I'm Rexel Pryce a.k.a. 'Rex', age is 20. I'm currently single and isn't seeing anybody at the moment. My parents are in the US, working. I have a little sister, Klara and she's an aspiring singer. She'll turn 15 after five months. The only thing that makes me different from the rest of the people my age is my occupation. I work.
Hm? What do I do for a living? What do I do in my everyday life?
It's nothing that special.
"Rexel Pryce. You're on in 5!"
"Got it!" I shouted back.
That's right. I'm a performer. Or more specifically, an -
"Ladies and gentlemen of all ages. Let me present to you the number 1 ranked idol in the international charts for the past 6 years! Give it up for Rexel Pryce!"
Yup. That's me.

"Thanks for the hardwork Mr. Rexel," Ivan said as he handed me a bottle of cool water and a towel.
Who's Ivan? Ivan Niel. He's my personal assistant and best friend. He had been with me even before I came famous. We were best buddies. So when I landed this huge role and I was asked to get a personal assistant, I immediately thought of Ivan.
I looked at him with a smile, "You don't have to be formal Ivan. You're my best friend!"
He smiled back at me and made an 'innocent' face, "What do you mean~? I dunno what you're talking about~"
The both of us laughed. Yeah. And except for the occasional laughing and jokes, my life is just black and white. The schedules are becoming strict and hectic. I no longer have any time to just wander around whenever I'm on tour. It was just the hotel, the studio and meeting places.
Why doesn't school count? Believe it or not, I just got excelled by alot of grades because according to them, I was a genius.
'Yeah right...'
So my days went on like that. That is until I got tired of everything...

"What do you mean Rex?"
I glared at Marlene, my manager. "You know exactly what I meant Marlene! I'm tired of you always booking my schedule like I'm some person that doesn't need sleep!"
"But a lot of shows are asking if you could-"
"I said cancel them!"
"You need to keep up your appearance!" she was finally shouting back at me.
But I never back down. Ever. "So what? Next thing I'd know is that I'd faint on the spot, in front of a camera! Is that what you mean as to 'keep up my appearance'?!"
"Rex!"
"No!"
"REX!"
"NO! And that's it!" I stomped towards the door.
"And where do you think you're going?"
"I'm having a break. A long one."
She gasped at my declaration, "WHAT? You can't! You still have-"
BOOM!
I slammed the doors closed. I looked over at Ivan apologetically. He just smiled at me and nodded.
"I knew you'd do something crazy sooner or later," he admitted.
He threw me some keys and a plastic bag with a wig and eye contacts. He told me to stay at that apartment since it would be pretty hard to find and to use the things inside the bag to stay hidden.
"You won't stay inside the apartment no matter what I say so be sure to wear those!"
I thanked him and dashed away. It was a little bit hard since I was running while putting on my disguise. But as I was trying to escape and outrun the securities, I failed to notice that there was going to be a storm.
And just not my luck, I didn't bring anything with me. Just my wallet, the bag and the keys Ivan just gave me.
"Oh great. Just great."
I continued to run even through the harsh pouring rain without any hesitation. Once I was caught, I was going to be under observation 24/7. And I wasn't going to end up like that without even a day or a week off. I know Marlene could give some cover up story to the media so I'll leave her to that.
And stupidly, I bumped into someone. Bigger. I looked up and to see 5 guys who looked like bodybuilders and they are pissed.
'Shit!'
I tried to get up and run away but I failed miserably.
"And where do you think you're going?"
"Her bro, I think this dude is rich!"
I gulped. I waited for my chance while they were trying to find my wallet or any cash in my pockets. And when I saw it, I immediately kicked where it hurts the most on the guy in front of me and headbutt the one holding me.
I was successful but my clothes were a mess and some parts of my body ached. But I continued to run. I needed to get away. When I was sure enough that I lost them, I tried to regain my breathing. Unfortunately, I suddenly started to feel dizzy and unfocused.
My closed and I felt my body fall to the muddy ground. But then, I felt something.
'Is someone...poking me?' I tried to open my eyes and ask for help but my body wouldn't move.
That person kept on poking me, probably thinking if I was dead or something.
"Uhm... Hello?" a feminine voice asked as I still felt myself being poked.
'So the one poking me was a girl...'
The poking stopped and I feared that she would just leave me there, thinking I was already dead since I wasn't moving. I managed to open my eyes even just a little and saw a person's figure, although it was a little blurry and dark. I moved my arm hoping to get her attention but she seemed to be in a daze.
So I did the only thing that was optional. I grabbed her leg. But what she did was what I didn't expect.
She kicked me and screamed.
