Asha's POV (Filsty's sister)
As I look at Adam and Fils faces. They were shocked the hell out.
Whom do you think will not be shock when you knew that your going to be married at an early age? I think no one right?! But it depends also if they love each other. But it turns out that only fils feels that love towrds Adam. And Adam don't have any hint that my sister loves her.
but before thIs happened we tackle this awhile ago. Yeah! Your right. I'm involved in the meeting awhile ago.
*Flashback*
When we arrived here at Tita Leah's house. Mom and dad approach tita and kissed her in the cheek and also filsty. Then a little after she just asked something and went straight where is Ishmiggy's staying.
"Honey. Halika dito." mom said.
We sit at the couch beside mom and dad also sit beside mom.
"Kailangan natin pag-usapan kung paano natin sasabihin sa mga bata yung will ni Mameng." sabi ni tita Leah.
mom and dad nod. And me? I'm just listening..
"Ahm.. But before that. Asha. I want you to know na may balak kaming ipakasal ang dalawa." tita said to me and my reaction was shocked and confused.
Bakit ipagpapakasal si Adam at filsty? And At early age? Why?
"Why tita? It's not that I don't want them to be together co'z i want them to be. But at early age? Bata pa po si Fils and I don't know if papayag sila .." sabe ko . I know fils will not agree to this though she has a feeling towards Ishmiggy but. I know ayaw niyang magpakasal sa taong alam niyang hindi pa siya mahal.
"I know that already Asha. But I will tell you the reason later why they have to be married at an early age. Before Filsty turn 18." she smiled. I'm totally confused. what is it about really?
*End of the Flashback*
Filsty's POV
Ghaaad! What is this thing all about? Why me? I mean why Lola Mameng wants us to get married?
"What about that Mom!?" Ishmiggy shouted. I know he's also confused and he also want's clarification.
"I tell you. It is because your Lola Mameng wants Filsty be Your wife. Even when she's still alive she only wants filsty be your future wife, but sadly hindi niya na makakamit yun co'z she knows that she will leave all of us soon. So before she died , her lawyer and Mameng made a will and it includes all of our finances and properties and our company. You cannot avoid this even though you have your own money now co'z your working on your own. We will be drown in all debts dahil si Mameng hinold lahat ng finances even your own money with the help of her connections kapag hindi ka nagpakasal kay filsty before she turns 18." Tita Leah said. On the look of thita Leah's face you can tell that she is suffering in stress.
How is that happened? geez, I know Lola Mameng like me but I'd never expected na ganito siya ka-determined na maging mag-asawa kame ni Ishmiggy. What if mom and dad don't agree with this? Ow! I feel like I don't want to be here.
"excuse me. I'll go get some fresh air." I excused then leave them behind even their not agreed.
Ishmiggy's POV
She left and go somewhere. Kainis naman kasi bakit naman kami pa napagtripan ni lola mameng? Tsk. Sure at her reaction that she doesn't liek to agree in this set up. Even me. I don't want to get married at the age of 20 . Ga-graduate pa lang ako ng college and then here it was. I'm stuck here. It sucks.
"So if I don't agree with this, our family will be poor that's what your telling about, mom?" I asked
"Yeah. We will be Forever Poor." mom hissed. FOREVER? HOW COME?
"Mom? How come we will be forever poor?" I asked.
"Your dad has a big debt to your grandma, and the money that your dad lend to grandma used to build his own company. And it is the Rodriguez Co. So if Mameng hold our company until you and filsty not yet married we will be drown in debts that we have to paid for as soon as possible. And for me the only possible solution is you and Filsty get married." mom said .
Oh! Tsk. We don't have any solutions. Oh ! What if.. What if...
Nahhh. If ever that we Lend some money to tito William and paid our debts to lola I can tell that we will never be get up from the downfall co'z we don't have any source of money it only the uprising telecommunication company and that was the Rodriguez Co. And even I work hard being an artist , it's not that too high salary and i do have a lot of taxes to be paid for. Tsk. I think I have to agree with this. But how's filsty and her family? Is there any possibily that they will agree with this?
"ahm.. How about Filsty and her family, are you agree with this Tito? Tita? Ate?" I asked them.
"It's not fine for me Adam. Pero kung sa ikakalugmok niyo ang hindi namin pagpayag , ayaw namin mangyari yun. We do love your family, and also you Adam . I don't want you and your family suffer if we don't agree , right hon.?" he said and asked tita Nancy. And tita Nancy nodded.
I give them a fake smile. And then look at Ate Asha that's now looking also at me.
"Y'know what? I only knew this all awhile ago but I never knew what is the reason behind of those problem. But now as I heard all of it , all of the reason to Tita Leah. I'll agree but somehow I wish that Filsty will also agree with this." she smiled. Yeah .. The only problem now is Filsty. I don't know if she will be agree with this..
