Memories : Chapter : 2

" So basically what you're saying right now , is that you fell unconscious and now you can't remember a single thing? " she asked confused .

I nodded my head in silence , nervous .

"Even me..?" she said slowly. I could tell there was a hint of hurt in her tone . 

"I'm sorry but , yea , even you." i answered softly , not trusting myself to look her in the eyes . 

"Well.. I'm Jeon SeulRa , i'm your cousin , we're both the same age , 16 , I live with you and your parents ." she said , giving me a reassuring smile. " And we're been close since we were in diapers ." 

"Okay , uhm.." i said not knowing how to continue . " You said something about my boyfriend , who is he?"

"Oh , you really don't remember anything ." she said , taking out her phone . 

"Scooch over sweet ." said Seulra as she sat beside me on the bed . 

I moved a little to the side to let her sit , she went on an app , which i saw was called Instagram and went to someone's profile . It looked like it belonged to me .

"Here." she said as she passed me her phone , this is you and this is your boyfriend . She said pointing to me and a boy , about my age . 

I studied his features , from his dimple , to his wide smile , to his long legs . He looked like a giant compared to me . The longer i look at the picture , the more familiar it felt to me .

"It looks kind of familiar ." i said under my breath . 

"Does it?"  asked Seulra . 

I nodded . 

She exited from the picture and tapped on another picture . It was a picture of me and her, our backs facing the camera and we were looking , from what looked like a city , from a high point .

"This was last year , when we went to Paris . We took this picture when we were on the Eiffel Tower . You were scared to death when we were taking this picture , you hated heights ." She said with a laugh . 

"May I?" i asked , hinting that i wanted to hold the phone to properly see the picture .

"Sure ." said Seulra handing me the phone . "And no need to be so formal . We're not strangers." 

I looked at the picture , and saw that in the picture , i was holding her hand rather tightly . 

Seulra rested her head on my shoulder , and my head immediately rested on her head as if it was normal . 

I read through the comments , and a smile escaped as i read them . 

" Is there a picture of me and my parents?" i asked handing the phone back to her .

"I think there is ." she answered , as she scrolled trying to find it . 

There was a knock on the door ,  and a men and woman came in the room . 

"Hye Yeon ah !! You're awake !" exclaimed the woman practically screaming . She was by my side in less than a second . 

"Mum." mouthed Seulra to me . 

"I'm fine mum ." i said reassuringly giving her a hug . 

"Are you sure?" asked my dad . 

"Mmhmm. " i chimed as cheerfully as possible .

"Seulra ah , come here and sit on the couch instead of trying to squeeze yourself on that small bed!" nagged my mother. 

"Okay okay ." Answered Seulra lazily , getting off the bed .

I let out a small chuckle . 

"Are you hungry? We bought food for you." said my mum . 

" Yea , kind of ." i said realizing how hungry i actually was . 

I ate the food that my mum had brought , she had brought me some porridge , we talked about this and that while i was eating , it felt weird to be the only one eating nonetheless i still helped myself and ate as much as i could . 

" I have something to say." i said as i put away the food containers . 

"What is it dear?" said my mum a look of concern on her face . 

"Well..." and i continued , telling what happened for the second time that day. 

"Did you tell the doctors?" asked my father .

I shook my head , looking down . My mother was speechless , and Seulra , just looked away , as if her feet were the most interesting thing ever . 

"Well , we have to ." said my father as he rang for the doctor . 

After a few minutes , the doctor and a nurse came . 

"Yes? You called for us?" asked the doctor as he walked in . 

"Yes , well my daug-" my father was cut off by my mother .

" I think we should let her say it." 

He nodded his head approving and gave me a encouraging look .

"Well .. uhm , i don't remember anything. Like , i know how to speak and talk and stuff , but my memories are some how gone ." i said , biting my bottom lip . " I don't remember anything nor anyone , i don't even remember my own parents ." 

"Hmm.. do you remember what happened before you passed out?" asked the doctor . " And if possible , i'd like to speak to Miss Yoon alone please ." 

"Of course." said my parents , and left along with Seulra .

It was almost a minute before i answered . 

"I think it had something to do with bright lights ." Trying to remember . My brain was throbbing with pain , trying to recall the memories hurt .

"Ouch ." i winced in pain , massaging my temples . 

"It hurts when you try to remember?" asked the doctor .

I nodded my head , the pain was easing . 

" Alright . Nurse , please get me the cards." he told the nurse . 

She nodded her head and ran off to get whatever cards the doctors asked for .

"Uhm.. I hope you don't mind me asking , but what cards are they?" i asked nervously . 

"Well , the cards , we usually use them to help patients who lost their memories to regain them back . " answered the doctor , with  a smile .

"Ahh .. okay." i mumbled , mostly to my self . 

The doctor sitting in front of me had a sweet smile and looked friendly , but there was an unsettling feeling inside of me . It felt like someone thing bad was going to happen and he'd be the reason why . 

"So you don't remember a single thing at all?" asked the doctor , waking me up from my thoughts . 

I nodded my head . " Do you have any idea why?" 

"Well .. it couldn't be from you hitting your head when you fell , we checked for damages , there was nothing wrong . I could be wrong but it could be a case of amnesia . "

YYYYEYEY after liek 100000000000000 years i finally updated hahah boring chapter i know , im sorry i didnt update in such a long time :(( i lost motivation and i had a lot of school stuff to do :// im rly rly rly sorry but i swear i'll try to update more in the future , after my exams which are in 3 weeks damn , but i hope you guys like it !<3 Do vote , like and comment <333 i love you <3 take good care of yourselves <3 If you live somewhere that the weather is cold then do wrap up <3 and stay warm , and if you live somewhere that is hot , then remember to drink tons of water <3 :D <33 ilyyy
