《Your POV》

I got down from the ship and looked around the place thinking about my future in this country

I waved my hand hoping there is an empty carriage, thank God there is.

I got inside and gave the address of my aunt

I got out of the carriage while gazing upon the beautiful mansion in front of me

I walked to the front door and rang the bell, I waited, the door suddenly opened to meet the face of my aunt Beth

"(Y/n)!?!" She said with the most shocked face ever

"Aunt Beth?!?" I said mocking her voice

She came up to me and hugged me tightly

"Wait. Why are you here in britain?" She backed up and looked at me

"Well you se-" I got cut of by her

"Hold up. Enter in you must be tired from your trip. Go sit down" She said as her maids help her move my luggages

"Sorry for the interruption" She said with a smile

"It's okay. As I was saying. CAN I PLEASE STAY AT YOUR HOME!" I asked Beth

"Well sure I would love that, but there is still a reason why you came" She said with a suspicious look in her face

"I came here because..." I said

"I just don't want to live in a loveless marriage" I looked down at my feet

"Well you can stay here whenever you want" She said and walked towards me and kissed my forehead

"Your room will be upstair to your left at the end of the hall" she said

I got out of my room and walked downstairs to see aunt Beth crying

I ran towards her

"Aunt Beth! Are you okay" I asked her

"I afraid I'm not (Y/n)" She said with tears in her eyes

"Tell me, what happened?" I asked her, wanting to know what happened

"The King is going to kill me" She said between sobs

"And why is that?" I asked her with curiosity roaming around my mind

"I accidentally said something very offendsive in front of him" She sobbed

"WHAT!? Is there anything that I can possibly do?" I asked her

"There is nothing you can do" She cried

"In fact I don't want to risk your life for mine" She stated

"What do you mean?" I asked her with confusion written my face

"The king said: In order to spare my life is to find him a girl to marry him. And I can't find a girl that capable to place her whole life for the King!" She said between sobs

I stare at her for a moment

'I want to give her all the credit she gave for me' I thought

"I'll do it!" I said with pride in my eyes

"WHAT! (Y/N). ARE YOU CRAZY?!? You're going to get yourself killed when the king finds out that your an american!" She said with sadness in her voice

"Then what do you want me to do!?! Let them kill you? NO! Aunt Beth you were always there for me. Through thick and thin. And I want to repay all my depths" I smiled

She sobbed

"God I always wished that you were my daughter" She cried happily

"If that's what you say. Then okay. I know that there's no stopping to that" She added

"When will they come?" I asked

"Tomorrow" she said

I woke up with a screaming voice ringing through my ears. I ran downstairs to see a man in a red coat pointing a gun towards my aunt's forehead

"I SAID SHUT UP!" The man shouted as aunt Beth cried louder

"STOP!" I shouted at the man

"And why is that?" The man asked in an angry tone

"I present myself to the King in order to save my mother" I said in the most british accent ever

I looked over to aunt Beth to see her with wide eyes

"Very well" The man in fancy clothes said behind the guard

He came up to me and took my hand and kissed it

"Samuel Seabury my lady, It's a pleasure to meet you" He smiled

"Pardon me sir, for I am still in my nightly beings" I blushed remembering that I am still in my night wear

"Your pardon is accepted, since you stand up your life for your mother then I suppose we should be going now" He smiled

"Can you give me a hour to freshen up for the King" I asked

"Of course" He said with a smile that you can never take away

"I'm ready" I said as I walked down the stairs in my favorite violet dress that I loved very much

"Wow. You look beautiful my lady. I'm sure that the King will love you" He said with adornment in his eyes

"Let's go?" He added

I nodded

"(Y/N)!" My moth- I mean aunt said

I turn around, and she came to me and hugged me tightly

"Be safe" She cried

I hummed saying yes

I got outside aunt Beth's house thinking
