"Thalia?" came the curious voice of Mrs Noyes down the corridor.
Thalia stopped bolt upright in her tracks. Ok, maybe sneaking out of 3rd period was not such a good idea when MN was seemingly patrolling the corridors like she was the army herself.
"What are you doing?"
"Urrrrmmmm..." Thalia's mind went blank. MN could be either seriously intimidating or scarily kind. It looked like she'd opted for seriously intimidating exactly when Thalia was hoping for the exact opposite today.
"Well?!" MN began, edging closer, "Can you explain why my star pupil is skipping class all of a sudden?"
Ugg. Thalia could feel her breath on her face now. That revolting stench of onions....
Looks like someone forgot to brush their teeth this morning...
"Errrrmmm." Thalia couldn't find the answer she was searching for. Her usually active mind had switched of at the sudden threat of questions. Mrs Noyes stood stock still, arms folded stiffly across her chest.
"Hmmm, Thalia, I expect you to return back to your class now," she said sternly, "Over wise I shall set you a detention which isn't at all appealing."
Thalia sighed and hesitantly walked back the way she came. For once, she'd wanted to be the bad girl and not the good girl. She was tired of being the good girl, the girl who always followed instructions, who always did what she was told. Thalia was tired of acting and hiding behind the 'good girl' cover.
But with MN's eyes locked right onto her, Thalia could do nothing else but walk right into a tiresome, mind burning, head-hurting Physic's lesson that she seriously hoped she could skip.

"Florence-Lilian-Nancy-Anderson, enters the Dance Studio!"
Flo rolled her eyes. Caleb. Typical Caleb to say her whole, lengthily and incredibly humiliating name in full.
"Did you have to!?" she cried, brushing her pale blonde hair into a quick, messy ponytail, with a laugh, "You know I hate my name!"
Caleb's brown eyes lit up with laughter. "That's the point! To annoy you!"
Flo pushed him playfully. "I will get you back!" she joked, "I swear I will."
Caleb snorted, "oh yeah. Competition. Lets see who can annoy each over the most. Winner is the person who gets the other to give in."
Flo smiled mischievously. If there was one thing she was good at-it was winning. Flo was known to win every single game that ever existed. Cluedo, Monopoly, Snap-you name it! Flo will have one it. She was winner and she knew it. Annoying the life out of Caleb will be as easy as applying makeup for Flo and Flo practically was literally the definition of makeup.
"Now, now students, please form a line at the back of the room whilst I grab the speaker please!" came the loud voice of the dance teacher.
Caleb quickly pushed past Flo sending her spinning to the floor.
Flo bit her lip. Ok, well that was unexpected. Maybe she'd have to brush up on her 'annoying' game.

Amanda sat in a 2 hour long maths class chewing the end of her pencil. Mrs Matt seemed to excel in the art of boring the life right out of her. Amanda had some how managed to count up to 99999 and back again 5 times instead of writing in her book and completing the terrifyingly long task set on the board. Her brain just wasn't in the mood for simplifying expressions using the 'M.A.T.T Method.' She hadn't half a clue what that very method even was right now.
