Nightwing stood before me, hope gleaming in his eyes.

"You helped Rha." I said.

He stopped. "That's not what happened."

"Okay B-man's little delight, whatever you say. Anyone else going to step out of the shadows to reveal their presence for shock value? Mom? Diana Prince? Metatron?"

Bruce decided to speak up again. "This is serious Lily."

"No it isn't dumbass. I'm already bored of this and who knows what will happen when Rha..." I faltered. What was I saying? My head...

Nightwing continued, "Lily, you might be starting to remember. You're a good person you just have to-"

"SHUT UP. Jesus. Why do you care exactly? Did I fuck you last time I was here or something? Go away little boy the grown ups are trying to talk- oh wait- they arent trying to talk they're trying to feed me some bullshit about how i'm a good person."

"You are-"

"What? What am i exactly because most of my life has been spent training on some cold goddamn mountain where I killed people.  I killed a child, and that was only the beginning.  What makes Jonathan any better than them? Aside from the fact that you knew him, I mean."

Everyone just looked at me.

Nightwing turned around and left, his footsteps were my punctuation marks.

Finally, Eddie broke the silence. " Maybe you're telling the truth." His head rose with his body as we stalked towards me. "Maybe this was your plan the whole time. You knew he'd bring you back and this time we wouldn't hurt you."

I could practically feel his psychological pain. "That literally makes no sense, Eddie. At all."

WHACK!

I haven't had time to think this through. Giving Bane the marble would be a dad idea... i was looking for- i found dad. Bruce Wayne Batman I am going to die please Bane don't let me the doves wings i see it it's gonna fly and i'll never see again oh god please

Tears started streaming down my face but I didn't know why. My head started aching getting gradually more and more intense.

Bane was holding Eddie up by his throat. I assumed Bruce was talking him down but i couldn't focus on anything but my head. Ugh, I need to get out of here so Joker can kill me on Tuesday.

"I don't have all my memories but even if I was kind I wasn't always like that.  People aren't always the same thing."

I looked up and Bruce was in front of me.

"Rose... Lily... We need you to remember what happened so that you can come back to us."

"Why? Why does it even matter?"

He tried to brush a strand of hair out of my eyes but i shook my head to get away from it.

"We all care about you."

I looked at him in disbelief. "So? I don't exist to heal your hurt feelings."

He took a step back. His plan isn't working.

"Let me go and I won't kill Nightwing."

He sighed, then Bane stepped forward. "Listen, youn- Lily. I brought you back to Rha so he could bring you back to life. You were dying, Lily."

I suppressed an eye-roll. "Of course I was dying, I had a nonfunctional machine in my brain, Rha fixed it after he brought me back."

It was Eddie who replied. "Don't be thick. Why would Bane kill you and not dispose of your body. How would Rha get you back?"

I looked at Bruce Wayne. "He made a deal with my father."

Bruce furrowed his brows. "Harvey?"

Eddie looked exasperated. "YOU!"
