Do not fear
Even though the demons are lurking near.
Listen to your angel's lullaby.
Let it lure you to a peaceful sleep.
Give your worries away,
Never to carry them on your shoulders again.
A blinding brightness will seep through your angels wings,
It's holiness will scare the monsters away.
And all the while you will sleep,
Blissfully unaware.
But although your angel loves you
And it wishes to show you the world,
The Warriors of God have better things to do,
Than stick around to protect you.
When it leaves,
For leave you it shall,
The dark shadows will roll in
And the world will be dark and dull.
So roll up your sleeves,
And prepare for The Battle.
Because that is what your life will be,
An ongoing war with demons
Who are no longer scared.
Yet there is still hope, little one
Create your own song,
To get you through each horrid day.
The world will become beautiful to you once more,
Even if it is little by little.
Grow your own wings,
Learn to fly.
Maybe you will see your angel,
In the corner of your eye.
Keep in mind that nothing truly dies.
You will live one,
Even when your angel bids you goodbye.
