Kai had had an amazing week. A boy asked her out, a boy named Bart and she said yes, and the best part was there was a dance today!
She decided Gem must not have liked her, because they would have been somewhere by now if she did. They still shared earbuds in computers and had small talked, Kai still adored her and blushed at the thought of her, but she knew it was holepless. Maybe I'm just supposed to be with a boy. Kai wished so much for it to be real.
The danceGem looked amazing, wearing fishnet leggings, red shorts, cavas boots, a white tanktop and a leather jacket while rocking a flower crown, pink lipstick and a heart made with eyeliner. Boy was she perfect. Kai was wearing a lame pair of leggings with a batman shirt. Kai knew she could never be anyone as amazing as her.
Bart came over with a drink, handing it to Kai. "Hey, babyyyyy!"
Kai looked up, "Hey,"
Kai looked over to see Gem dancing alone in the middle of the gym. She looked as if she was dancing for a live show, she didnt have a care for what anyone said or who looked. She stared in awe. Bart looked over.
"Watcha lookin at?"
Kai looked over, startled. "Uh..just staring off into space I guess."
Bart laughed. "Lammeeee," and he patted her on the head before walking away to talk to his friends. Kai couldnt see Gem anymore. She looked around when suddenly she heard a "Hey!" Coming from behind her. She jumped and turned around.
"Oh! H-hey!" Kai bit her lip.
Gem smiled in that cute way and walked off, continuing her dance. Elaina then appeared behind Kai, one of her younger friends.
"God, WHAT A SLUT! Do you see how she dances?!" Elaina shook her head. Kai stood, baffled. "I..uh.."
"Well, anyway," Elaina started, "Lets dance!" She grabbed Kais hand and pulled her out onto the dance floor.
