Mirrors & Reflection

Reflection is a word with three syllables,

It has nine letters within it's refinements yet it is so much more.

More than what the normal eye can see.

Yet less than what it is meant to be.

Mirror contains two syllables and six letters,

Why is that?

Why is something that seems so alike be so different?

Is it because this is a gateway to an image without an imprint?

Why not same and name?

They both have a similar amount of letters and one syllable.

Yet, they are not alike?

Have you given it thought?

Have you found the answer?

You probably never will, because reflection is now moving on,

Along with mirror.

Similar to the inching of a catipilar.

Well let me give you a hint as of why this is what it is.

It is because we make it as it is, we make reflection stronger than mirror.

Because what is seen in a mirror can only be perceived as what is seen.

And reflection can be seen in many other ways.

Please keep thinking and see what I am trying to say.

Have you ever seen yourself in someone yet you do not look alike?

That is reflection.

Did you ever meet your doppelganger?

That is mirror.

Have you looked in a shop window to find your self staring back?

That is reflection and mirror.

A/N: Okay guys I know you are like "WTF this makes no frickin sense!"
And I know you will want to stab me when I say this...

But it's not supposed to. It is supposed to make you think. I have always thought things must always make sense or be wrong. Can it ever be both?

This poems purpose is to open you're mind to more possibilities. Cause many people see things in one light but I want you to see stars.
