This story features Zyx, from my story Dream Weaver. A quick overview of him is he was a jealous boy, and that jealousy grew into hatred. he tried to hurt Nyeline and was banished. This is his view of what Imaginary Friends face when they are banished.

Zyx glanced around at his surroundings. They never changed, he never changed. Nothing would ever change where he was. His burning red eyes narrowed into tiny slits at the gray that surrounded him. There was no wind, no water, just earth and air. There was nothing that was alive except him, if you counted him to be alive. With a small sigh, Zyx leaned back against a tree, looking up at the non-moving gray sky. Images of the past flashed through his mind as the moon hung in the sky, never having it's phases, never leaving that spot.
He thought about Nyeline and Vincent. How much he hated them, how much they ruined his life. Sure, the latter stuff was his fault, but they made him turn to it. He scowled at the moon as the memory came to him.
A nine year old Nyeline giggled, tackling Vincent and holding onto his neck. The two laughed as they fell onto Elody and Nona, then quickly got up at the grunts from the two girls. Zyx rolled his eyes, sitting cross-legged on the bed. He watched Nyeline and Vincent with narrowed eyes. Jealousy pricked at him. He wanted to be best friends with her, he wanted Vincent to go away. He wondered why Nyeline even imagined him if he was just going to be forgotten about. She loved playing with Vincent and the girls, but when it came to him, all he did was sit on the bed and watch her play. Zyx looked away to glare at the wall, his white hair covering his dim red eyes.
Zyx looked at the still moon again, his eyes narrowed and burning with hate for Nyeline. Grinding his teeth together, he pushed himself off the tree and started to head out of the still forest and onto a still meadow. The grass broke off as he walked on it, almost as if it was ice. A river that would have been flowing if it wasn't frozen was off in the distance, not making a sound. Nothing made a sound. The world was cold and gray, a world nobody would want to be in.
As he walked down the frozen field another memory came to him, the memory of how he got here.
Zyx pinned Vincent against the wall, a knife to his neck. Nyeline watched in the distance, her eyes wide but she didn't try to stop him, she didn't try to pull him away. A small smirk crept onto Zyx' face as he pressed the knife a little harder to Vincent's throat, a small trickle of blood sliding down the end of the knife.
Let him go! Nyeline had screamed at him.
Zyx just laughed and went to push harder on Vincent's throat, going to finish him off, but Lulu came then and tackled him away from the other boy. Zyx gave a growl and turned to stab the girl, Nona stopping his hand from going any farther. Elody came up behind the two girls, glaring down at Zyx with her hands on her hips.
Zyx, I sentence you to be banished to the in between world. Nyeline has spoke clearly, glaring at him. I no longer wish you to be one of my Imaginaries. You must leave now, get out of our sight!
Zyx glared at them all with his red eyes. He just had to get caught. His body started to fade as he moved from the living world to the in between world, and even though it was Nyeline who had banished him, her face showed sadness.
Idiot! Zyx yelled at her right before he disappeared.
Zyx held his head. He'd be trapped in this world forever. He wouldn't be able to get out. He'd go crazy from loneliness, lack of sound, lack of wind. He ground his teeth together and gave an irritated scream that lacked to be heard.
