Chapter 13

💟 Alana's P.O.V 💟

When he opens the door I am welcomed to a big bright hallway. The hallway has a side table with loads of photo frames we walk past them and into the kitchen.

"So would you like tea,coffee,water or juice?" Sam asks.

"Can I have water please? I ask.

"Sure...here you go." He said after he finished pouring me a glass of water.

"Thanks." I say to Sam.

We take our drinks into Sam's living room,sit down and look through his DVD collection. In the end we facile on the new film It.

"Sam how do you have It? It literally just got into the cinema." I exclaim.

"Let's just say I have connections." Sam said winking.

We start to watch It when I get really bad stomach pains. Oh no...

"Sam what date is it today?" I ask.

"The 22nd of September...why?" Sam asks.

"Where is the bathroom?" I ask panicky.

Sam directs me to the bathroom I go to the toilet and see something that no girl wants to see someone who all girls hate that visits often.

I had started my period and I had no pads or tampons. I stand there panicking. I walk out of the bathroom.

"I have to go...m-my...mom wants me...Ye...she wants me to help her with tea." I say already telling that he doesn't believe in my lie.

I turn around to walk away when I get a really bad pain in my stomach and Sam comes over to me with a worried expression on his face.

The he says "ok...I have never gone through any of this shit as I am a boy but... I am guessing river red has come to town as you have a red stain on the back of your jeans."

River Red what the fuck?

This is so embarrassing what do I say I just look at Sam with a lost look on my face.

Sam smiles encouragingly and then goes red.

"Ok...I know I don't know a lot about this stuff but you have clothes don't you?"

"Yes I was thinking of stopping at Megan's so I bought some because every time I go over there I almost always end up sleep over." I say matter of factly.

"Ok...well I am going to the shop is there any food you want?" Sam asks and I am shocked by his behaviour.

"Umm...can I have some jelly tots, strawberry ice cream and chocolate but not dark because it is bitter?" I ask which he agrees to he also asked if I wanted any drinks which I replied with hot chocolate.

I am sat watching The Duff, which I am shocked Sam even had on DVD when suddenly my phone starts to ring.

Alana :hello?

Sam : hey I...uh wanted to know...what type of pad you want.

Alana :um

*30 minutes later*

Sam :I.DON'T.SEE.A.PURPLE.PACKET.

*sob noises down the phone*

Sam :Alana, princess please don't cry I'm sorry I'm just frustrated and a little embarrassed.

Alana :it's ok

Sam :ok I am looking...and I have found it.

Alana :ok hurry up buy it I need it fast.

*beep beep*
