Ch. 4- ..."that's what you think." She said with a rueful smirk creeping upon her lips. He turned to see the girl grab a rag out of her back pocket wiping off the "blood" that was coming out of her nose, which he soon realized to be fake. "You know fake blood stains clothes, right?" He said without glancing away from the quiet road. "Yeah, but I figured it's worth it since I've got a tight hold on you now." She said as she took off her shirt. "Sorry, miss, I'm not interested." Luke said rolling his eyes. "I wasn't implying that. That's not why I'm here, trust me I have no interest in you, sir." She said eyeing him up and down. "okay, then why are you here." He asked.

"I'm sure you're quite familiar with the group of guys you encountered yesterday. Well, among the group of people who you decided to victimize as your personal punching bags, was my brother. He came home with crimson-red gashes all over his face, and bruises the size of Venus." She said, gritting her teeth.

"Listen, you don't even know what happe--"

"DONT SPEAK." She interrupted, eyes as dark and ominous as the road that was stretched I'm front of them. Luke swallowed hard.

"He took care of me, you know? I lost my mom and dad when I was very young, and he acted as a guardian. Not that that's any of your business. You may think he's a perfect, popular jock, but we've been through hell. We moved around on our own; bouncing house to house, city to city. Now I'm taking you to all of the rough areas we've been to, just to get a taste of how hard life can be. It really beat us up, just like you did to him. Now move over I get drivers seat."
