I glanced at Anedra again, the same doubt, confusion written on his face. After 10 minuted of solid fighting, we were able to defeat at least 1/3 of the army that attacked us. The once that escaped traveled north, I saddled up again and looked down at Kattappa. "Something seems off," I said, "I'm following them." His expression mirrored his answer "NO". "Yes, I need to find their tattoos and see what there doing," I exclaimed, and looked at Anedra, his face agreeing and just like that he saddled up next to me, his sword tucked in neatly by his side, curiosity lingering on his face. Why did they have the tattoo? They either were mocking us or doing something bad, it was Kalakeya, they always think of something wicked, then suddenly I thought of something. Amerendra Bahubali's body was never found. After Kattapa had stabbed Bahubali, (Kattapa was always at unease and regret when anyone mentioned that) Bijjaladeva had stabbed him multiple times, and it was certain he was dead. Due to the urgency of the situtation Kattappa and Bijjaladeva was ushered along into the crowd of poor people desperate for their King and the baby Mahendra's birth was occuring in a few minutes. Then when Kattapa returned for the body, it was never found, Sivagami had ran away with Mahendra and Kattapa was destinied to be tied to the loyalties of the King. My breath hitched in my throat when I realised what happened, my forhead creasing, "We have to go Kattapa, to find out their secret, we both are stealthy, you know that but this is dangerous, they could well be planning something." I said, Anedra nodded, his body was stiff and his jaw was clenched. Kattapa sighed, "If you don't get back in a few days, I am sending out troop, and Anedra," he stopped and looked at Anedra,"The princesses are waiting for you."

I stiffened but gazed directly at Kattapa, "Now go," he said, his words were laced with uncertainity but as we rode off toward the Kalakeya tribe, we rose closer to a dark secret hidden for two generations.
