Chapter 4

I get up for my second day at the hell hole, don't get me wrong I like how I've started my new year so far, but ugh still it's like a prison. I hop out of bed and put some clothes on, I gotta wake up max which is always so hard. The kid can sleep through everything, and I mean everything.
"MAX GET UP" I yelled
No response. I'm just gonna get water
I get some water from the bathroom and put it in the spray bottle that I use constantly just for this. I spray him once nothing, twice still nothing, third times a charm right? WRONG. I spray him once more with tickling maybe this will work. Yes I know shouldn't I be able to wake up my brother after how long, well I've only met my brother for 2 and a half years now.. it's a story I'll tell you that.
"MAXIMUS GET UP RIGHT NOW OR I SWEAR I WILL DUMP SO MUCH MORE WATER ON YOU"
"Shhh I'm sleeping"
"WE HAVE SCHOOL SO GET YO BUTT UP RIGHT THIS SECOND"
"Whyyyy, you're so mean I hate school just as much as you" 
"You're in grade 5 you have no idea what hating the hell hole is" I smiled with a chuckle
"Stilllllll its all dumb and yucky"
"Oh I know" and a couple more words I shouldn't say, so I say it to myself.
"Cmon get ready we gotta go, you'll get to see Riley" I winked and ruffled his hair a bit
Max smiles with a blush and I can tell I won him over, it's so cute seeing him have a crush on her...
I made bacon and eggs for max and I, our mom leaves for work at 6:40, 20 minutes before we're up. We quickly ate and before we left I made a mental check list, making sure I did everything. I made our lunches, we're dressed, I have everything for school, so does max, yep I'm good. We head to the Sharmans house to wait for Dylan Smith to get us.
"Hey Yazzie, Hi Riley" they both smile and say hi back
"Did you do the table set up for co-op"
"Ya it was so boring" I said with a fake yawn
Yazzie laughed, Dylan's a lucky guy she's got a nice laugh, it surely lights up peoples moods

"Get in kiddos" Dylan said
"I'm older then you babe" Yazzie said
"Shh Connor doesn't need to know that"
"Wait Dyl when's your birthday?" I said
"It's during a month and a day"
"Smartass, his birthday is June 11, mine is May 21. How about you Con?" Yazzie said
"Well dyl im younger then you but 3 days, June 14, Max and I surprisingly have the same birthday, he came 2 weeks early, I was on time"
"Whoa that's so cool, Ryl's November 2" Yazzie answered with a shocked face
We sit in the car it's quiet but it's a comfortable quiet, just the way I like it. We drop the younger ones off and head to school.
I head to math, the best subject in the entire world. YAY. Notice the sarcasm. I gotta make some friends in this class, I'm gonna try to talk to Nina and Tess but they usually have their own convo. I notice these two people walk in, they seem chill and funny, I'll try talk to them if they sit close to me, I sit in the back cause why not?
Perfect they sit right beside me, as the lesson begins I'm already lost, I'll ask one of them for help.
"Hey um do one of you guys get this?" I ask
"I'm completely lost, this is really confusin' and its only the second day" the girl answers
"Unlike you morons I get it" the guy says with a smirk
"I am not a moron, numbers and letters shouldn't be in the same subject" the girl says.
"I'm Connor, what are your names?"
"I'm Cameron, or cammy for short, this imbecile is Tyrone"
"Well nice to meet you cammy and imbecile Tyrone" I chuckle while saying
Tyrone 'helps' us with the math, he really doesn't we end up laughing and throwing airplanes at the teacher, everyone starts to laugh.
Math ends sadly, JUST KIDDING OH MY BLESS THE LORD IM OUT FOR THE DAY. I head to my next class which is co-op I have that class with Yazzie and Tess I believe, I'm still gonna try to make new friends because why not?
"Hey yaz and tess" I said
"Hey con" they both say in unison
"Do you guys know what you want to be when your older?" Taylor asked
"Ummm a lawyer or something that's gets me money" I answered
"I'd like to work in the medical field, I think it'll fit me perfectly" Yazzie answered
"Oh why? So you can learn how to kill people precisely" Tess said
"Or to learn all the pressure points of someone and their weak spots to win in a fight"
"No, what do you guys think of me? But to be truthfully honest that does seem cool, but I want to so I can help others"
"Ya help kill people" I whisper somewhat loud
"CONNOR I'm not mean and diabolical, well not usually"
As we get into co-op we all sit down, and wait for the teacher to begin her AMAZING talk of the day, can she be any more boring? Like seriously I'm drowning here in boredom.
"CONNOR REPEAT WHAT I JUST SAID" Mrs. Deeny says
"You said 'CONNOR REPEAT WHAT I JUST SAID' there you go miss" I mimicked which gave people a reason to laugh for once, I think I was spot on, I should be an actor.
"Can someone explain to Connor what I said, hmmm how about Tyrone. Would you mind explaining?" Mrs. D said
"I didn't volunteer, nor did I raise my hand. Lemme tell you something when my hand is up that means I know the answer or a question or in this case I volunteered. But I didn't have either of my hands up, therefore you do not ask me or tell me anything." Tyrone said
"YOU KNOW WHAT, QUIET TIME FOR THE REST OF CLASS, here's a quiz I was gonna give for my seniors but you guys can do this, and another one tomorrow. Yep okay perfect"
I strongly dislike (not hate that's mean) Mrs. D and it's only my second day here. Mhm great. The quiz took up the entire period 'cause we never learned this. Like ever so what the fuck. Guess I'll make friends tomorrow?
I head to my physics class which I have Dylan in, hopefully I get close with him.
I sit in the back like always because it is my home basically, while Mr.K was handing out like a bajillion sheets, I was playing a game until Dylan came and sat beside me. This was a bit shocking he usually sits with his guy friends, I'm a tad bit curious.
"Hey con, why you so lonely here?"
"Because I have people and socializing sometimes"
"Me too but cmon I'll introduce you to my other friends, you'll like them. But they're slight trouble makers so beware"
"Ugh fine you owe me one"
"Deal, ayo come"
All his friends came over and it was all fun and games for them while I was trying to do these sheets of paper. Until one of them told me to throw this weird slimy thing at the teacher, I think it was a mixture of gum and glue I have no idea. Me being me threw it and it landed right on Mr.K's face, it was quite funny. He couldn't get it off it was that sticky, and now there was a stench so that's great. He didn't suspect it was me, he eventually left it alone surprisingly.
Class finished and off to gym I go, I have gym with James. We go to weight room, and it stunk like I know guys stink but this place needed to be washed with the ultimate car washer, like it was bad. As were in the weight room I try to make friends but didn't succeed I got too tired.
School finished and we head to the kids school and pick them up. Max and I go home and do homework well I do homework, max is playing video games, lucky kid. I finish my homework and off to bed I go. All In all this day was a success I made a new group of friends I think?
