Lauren's POV
I am getting a massive headache leaning my head against the window. I am so tired but the bumpy road is not allowing me to sleep. A horrible conundrum. Something suddenly hits my shoulder and I realize that Dani fell asleep and fell on me. Her warmth causes me to smile and I continue laying in my position now distracted in my thoughts. While admiring her innocence, I remember how many times she has done this. This exact thing happened the day I fell in love with her. I feel my arm tingle and push Dani because I do not want to lose an arm.

While being woken up Dani's eyes open lethargically.

"Hello sleepyhead." She looks up at me and her cheeks burn red contrasting with her sparkling green eyes.

"Was I laying on you the entire time?" She asks her cheeks still blood red.

"I am sure it was more comfortable than the window." The window was cruel to me earlier however it could have been nicer to her.

"Probably." Her head lifts off of my shoulder and she hits her caramel hair out of her mouth. She stretches, reminding me of a cat, when she seems finally satisfied with her routine the car stalls. At first I think that it was probably a duck crossing the road, but then I smell gas. My eyes widen and I bang my head on the ceiling. I rub it, but speed out of the car getting groans from my sisters.

"Get out of the car!" I scream trying to sound demanding but they act like I did not just yell at them.

Why does no one ever listen to me?

They first glance at me confused, but Dani comes out again getting complaints from my sisters. I open the truck throwing all of the suitcases out of the car. If there were breakables in the suitcases they probably broke. Dani is looking at me skeptically but I give a 'this is serious' face and she seems to understand and goes and soon my sisters are out of the car. Like as if it was an action movie the front of the car starts on fire. I give them all I told you look when their eyes widen.

"What are we supposed to do?" Amy voices all of our fears. I have not heard a car for at least an hour. I look around and it is surrounded by grass and corn fields. There is nothing around here.

Is the rest of the trip going to be this boring?

Christina grabs her suitcase and starts walking not telling us anything. The rest of us follow since we do not know what to do either. Lisa and Amy talk to each other, Katherine and Christina talk to each other, and Dani and I talk to each other.

"Do you know where we are going?" Dani asks, her green eyes filled with excitement.

"Minnesota." I respond completely serious knowing Christina is going to get us there one way or another. She laughs at me, causing me to start to play with my fingers. I was not even making a joke.

"Where even are we?" She asks me and I have no idea. For the last part of the trip I had been watching her sleep.

"Maybe they know." I signal to all of our older sisters. Dani runs up to them with her little kid energy. I never want that to leave.

"Do you guys know where we are?" I hear her loud voice ask. I do not hear the answer because all of them are not facing me.

Dani skips back to me, "We are in Minnesota." Dani tells me a joker grin from finding it out by herself. When she acts like this her personality reminds me of a five year olds.

"Really?" I ask confused. It is hot outside. I feel like I am melting.

"That is what Amy told me." She motions to Amy.

"Thanks Spice." I say using her nickname which makes her smile grow.

"You are welcome Sugar." I feel a smile form on my face.

Dani and I are staring at each other and we do not notice when Amy and Lisa stop and we both run into them.

"What the heck!" Lisa turns to look at us and I bow my head down as always.

"Watch where you are walking." Amy says, sounding nice beside from the actual words being said.

"Sorry." I tell them and realize why we stopped. I see a rest stop in front of us. That is lucky because now we can see where we are. Dani and I run in to get out of the overwhelming heat.

"I thought it snowed in Minnesota." Dani takes a new outfit out of her suitcase. That is smart. I open my suitcase and take out my overall shorts and a tie dye shirt under it. I then put a cap on to protect my scalp. I am happy I packed for any weather. I start to absent-mindedly braid my hair when Dani comes out with high waisted shorts and a pink t shirt. She doesn't wear pink often, but she looks great in it. Her long legs emphasized by the shirts and her smile shining as bright as the sun. I must have been staring for a little too long because I see Danis face burn up.

"You look great." I break the awkwardness.

"Thanks so do you." She smiles at my compliment and I feel my face burn up. Someone hits my shoulder.

"Infant, Fetus, we found the nearest hotel." I see Lisa next to me looking peaceful.

Did she not just see how both of our faces are pitch red?

Well, she is not the Lisa I remember living with because she would have asked us immediately what it was.

"How far away is it?" Dani asks.

"It is going to be a trek." Lisa admits and I put a positive mindset on it.

Okay, it is just like your normal walks.

All six of us follow behind our leader off to wherever this hotel is.
