Chapter 1: Fate

Me. Just an introverted girl who can't do anything. And he's a sweet, hot guy who is everything. We're so different. I have to stay away. But then, why is he always there? Why do I keep on bumping into him?

I'm Jeong Hee Kim (김정희). I'm 19 and still in school. My major is Art and I go to North Wysteria University. Its quite a big school but its not too big. A good environment for me to fit in.

Anyways, I am very self consious, shy, quiet, etc. I love to draw and um, yeah.

I'm on my way to school like I am everday. All of a sudden, I bump into someone and collapse onto the ground. I can feel the sting gradually plant itself onto my knee and palm as the pain bloomed across my hand and my leg.

"I am so sorry! Are you okay? I'm so sorry! Gosh, why am I so clumsy?"

I look up to see a sweet, gentle looking face, filled with concern. He offered his hand to me and I took it. It was warm and soft.

"Don't worry, I should've been paying attention to where I was going." I reassured him.

He looked up and down as if scanning me and saw my scratches. His big, brown eyes showed panic and guilt.

"I'm so sorry! Ah, what have I done. I'll help you with that." He bent down on one knee and lightly rubbed his thumb over my right knee with a worried look on his face. I was blushing and turned my head, not used to guys touching me. Actually, I wasn't used to anyone touching me for that matter.

"Um, it's f-fine. I-I'm on my way to school anyways. I can just wash it there." I managed to stutter. I got a closer look at his face and realized that he looked very familiar.

"Are you okay though? Are you hurt anywhere?" I asked worriedly.

He smiled and replied, "Don't worry, I'm fine. You should be concerned about yourself, not me."

Oh my gosh, that smile...... I gave him a smile back.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is your name?" he questioned.

"It's 김정희 (Kim Jeong Hee)." I responded.

"Nice to meet you 정희. I'm 전정국 (Jeon Jung Kook) from BTS. Once again, I'm really sorry about that. I should've been more careful." His phone buzzed. "I gotta go before my manager yells at me. Maybe we'll see each other again. Anyways, 안녕(bye)!"

And just like that, he left.
Oh, so that's why he looked so familiar... Wait... I just bumped into one of the members of the most popular kpop boy group in the world... He held my hand.. OMG.... I just stood there in awe while my mouth was gaping open. Some people just stared at me like I was crazy but I didn't care. What.. the heck.. just happened... Am I dreaming? I pinched myself. Ouch. Nope, still awake. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! Wait a second... Ah! I have to go to class before I'm late! And just like that I raced to my school and made it just on time. School began....
