Long Story short, my friend asked me to draw a big ass feline predator for her upcoming fantasy/ sci-fi book. I wondered what creature I could use as a inspiration for the proportions and body. A lion was still too small and a tiger had the wrong head shape. This was the end result: an ancient Sabre tooth species. It's small, but I am planing to follow it with some more concepts.
