"Oi, Jungkookie." Jimin called out to the male, who was sipping on a drink. "Yeah?" The maknae turned to look at the other, only to find him holding up a snack packet."Here, catch." Jimin threw the snack over, which Jungkook almost missed catching. "It's almost an hour till the broadcast, thought you might be hungry."
Jungkook thanked the other, who came over and wrapped his arm around his neck, almost spilling Jungkook's drink.
"Hyung." Jungkook said softly, then squirming softly, getting out of the other's clutches barely. "I'll get you a drink as well, to thank you for the snack." Finishing his words, Jungkook quicken his pace towards the pantry, throwing away the empty plastic cup on his way, which was just where Jimin came from.
"Jimin." Seokjin called the other, who he turned to in response. "Don't you think you're fussing over Jungkook a little too much?" Seokjin asked softly, with a bit of curiosity.
"Not really. I'm just taking care of the maknae." Jimin replied, shrugging off his concern. Seokjin nodded and smiled slightly. "Well, if you insist on taking my job, go ahead."
Jimin shook his head slightly, chuckling a little, while the rest of the members stood nervously outside the recording room.
After a few minutes, Jimin started getting impatient as it certainly didn't take himself that long to walk to the pantry and back. So what's taking Jungkook so long?
While the rest of the members are filled with nervousness about their first radio broadcast, Jimin's mind was all Jungkook.
After joining BTS a year ago, he found himself fallen deeply in love with the maknae, attracted by the pure cute looks and extroverted charm the other exclude. The first time they met, Jungkook was a nervous wreck, and Jimin took charge in taking care of him, as the oldest hyung was not much of a difference himself despite having almost 6 years of age difference.
Jimin never declared his affection, but it was obvious through his overly fuss over him, and that he'll pay special attention to the latter. Even once he almost came through by stating that he'll like to have a date with Jungkook in an interview.
Being someone who treasured family, Jimin takes relationships very seriously, although he's known for being a huge flirt, especially towards cute girls when he was in high school, not that it's any lesser right now, but much better.
Jimin clicked his tongue in slight frustration, crossing his arms as he leaned on the wall heavily. "Could he have gotten lost?" Jimin was really worried, much to the amusement of the others. "The pantry is literally right there. Chill, you and I, we all saw him walked in there." Yoongi was annoyed by how restless Jimin was, with Namjoon, Seokjin and Hoseok backing him up by laughing at his remarks.
"Maybe he's passed out? I've better go check on him." Jimin released his crossed arms and stumbled back on his feet, making his way towards the pantry.
"Yeah. Get me some snacks while you're at it." Seokjin requested the other, who probably didn't heard it anyways. Yoongi chuckled slightly, that's really how EatJin got his nickname from isn't it? The icon of awkwardness always had food as one of his top priorities, who knows if he dated carrots or girls?
Seokjin felt almost better after seeing Yoongi's smile, which was a rare sight, especially since he was the one who made him laugh, that always feels so much more different than usual.
"Really? You think you can win me at this?" Taehyung grinned confidently, and nodded to answer the question the other threw at him. Jungkook smirked, showing his teeth and took the packet of snacks, ripping it slowly then pouring it over the paper plate on the table.
"One question, one piece, as usual." Jungkook took the first piece and held it at his mouth, awaiting in confidencd as he believes that he'll be able to answer what the other had in mind.
"Hmm, A Pink members plus Sukira's starting broadcast time multiplied by Jin Hyung's age equals to?" Taehyung couldn't think of anything better, he knew that Jungkook hated math, thus deciding to use it against him. However, he never should have underestimated Jungkook's ability.
Jungkook sighed softly, his shoulder rising then falling back. "You're giving me a math question?" Taehyung nodded proudly, changing looks in a matter of seconds. "Well...? Does the golden maknae need my help?"
Jungkook smirked, throwing the cookie into his mouth, then intentionally crunched the cookie loud enough for the other to hear. Taehyung gasped, about to accuse the other of cheating, until the other proved him wrong by stating the correct answer. Taehyung could only wallow in shock.
"Now, my turn." Jungkook stated, not taking his eyes off Taehyung. "What's-" The game was then interrupted by the presence of another individual, who called out Jungkook, then Taehyung's name before the latter could say another word.
"Oh, it's Jiminie. Wanna join us?" Taehyung politely invited the other, who agreed, stepping in. Jungkook showed signs of discomfort, since he came in here to actually get away from him, but now the person he feels the most comfortable with invites the complete opposite in, ironic.
"Oi Jungkook, took you long enough, where's my drink?" Jimin placed a hand on the other's shoulder, who the other laughed awkwardly in response. "Right, I'll get it for you now."
"It doesn't matter, I'll get it myself. You want another one though?" Jungkook politely declined, which the other then lets go and headed to the refrigerator. Taehyung still reminded Jimin that it's not their pantry, despite the Sukira staff telling them to help themselves to the snacks and drinks. Taehyung was a real sweetie, always knowing when or when not to cross the line, even though sometimes he can really get too sweet, and that would really cause people to be uncomfortable.
For the next ten minutes, Taehyung and Jimin converse comfortably, as they were of the same age, and also were schoolmates, thus knowing each other before. Jungkook joined in the conversation occasionally but wasn't really interested in their topic about games.
"Yoongi was starting to think this pantry was the bemuda triangle." Seokjin walked in on them since the door wasn't closed and grabbed himself to the snack on the counter bar, ripping the top part of the packaging then helping himself to it.
"They just told us that our broadcast is in 30 minutes, and that we should like get ready for it." Seokjin stated the message he was asked to bring, while already finishing his snack.
"Yeah, I'll go get ready then." Jungkook got off the high stool, and landed on both feet, making his way over to the door but felt his arm getting grabbed by a certain individual.
"Hold up, I'll come with you." Jimin lets go after getting the other's attention, deciding to leave all the mess behind. The two then left the room hastily.
"Huh? Oi! Jiminie Pabo!" He called out to the other who already left with the golden maknae. "He always leaves a mess." Taehyung pouts slightly, grabbing the light packaging of the finished packet of snack.
Seokjin crushed the one in his hand and then headed over to the counter, clearing everything in one fall swoop, and was even able to open the trash bag with his hands full, then tying it up after it. No wonder he was known as the mum of BTS, he always took care of everyone's mess, no matter big or small, MumJin would always clean it up after, and everything would be all good.
After washing his hands, Seokjin grabbed a clean tissue, wiping his hands dry and threw the small litter in the dustbin, then turning over to Taehyung, who was still waiting for him.
"Huh? You're still here?" Taehyung nodded, stating that the only thing he could do is wait, since Seokjin did helped him with the cleaning.
Seokjin could only sigh.
