Chapter One: Part One

Kathrine's P.O.V

His screams flooded my ears. Then, the shadow man speaks. "Isn't it great. His screams are music to my ears." I tried so hard to ignore the voice. "Kitty, why don't you take his last breath?" "No!" "Come on. Just imagine the light leaving his eyes as you slit his neck open." I could feel the tears begin to fall. "Stop!" I started crying. "Fine. If you won't kill him, THEN I WILL!" He stepped into the room that held my father. He look like a shadow. "Remember Zianna? Your wife? She told me to tell you she loves you. Then I shot her!" My father teared up and for the first time in months spoke. "One request." "Hmm, alright. Go ahead." "Release my daughter when I die. Please." The shadow man thought for a minute. "Alright, you have my word." I gasped. "Father! No!" With that the shadow man slit his throat. His blood stained the stone. There was my father, his limp body laying there. "Time to go." Then everything went black.

I woke up to a small wolf smelling me. I gasped and backed away. The wolf whimpered and lied down. "H-Hey, little one." She turned to me. "A-Are you h-hurt?" I started moving towards the pup. She backed away then flipped. Just like that she became huma- werewolf. She looked about 10. With long brown and black hair, bright blue eyes and white and dark blue ears and tail. "Hiya! I'm Pheobe!" She looked towards the woods where a gray and white wolf was. "Omea, (Om-I-a) come here!" The wolf transformed. She was a girl with waist-length light gray hair, a gray eye(the other was covered by hair), and snow white ears and tail. " Miss, I need to know if you're any kind of non-human spices." Should I tell her. "Please, Miss tell me." I think I might have to. The little one, Pheobe tried to ask me. "Please Miss tell us." "First, my name is Kathine. Second why should I tell you?" "Kathrine, please." I guess Omea was trying to find an excuse. "Please, Kathrine. Just tell us." I guess its very important. "Fine. Yes I am a wolf." With that my dark blue ears appeared. "Kat! Your ears are so pretty! Willy, can we bring her back to the tribe?" Willy? I thought her name was Omea. "Phe, I don't know if Alpha will be happy to have fresh blood." I whimpered. I heard my father screams. I heard my mothers pleads and everything went black.

As I woke I noticed I was in a bed. I got up and tried to find Omea or Pheobe but I couldn't. "Are you Kathrine?" A girl with black hair, green eyes and hazel ears walked up to me.
