Okay, so Teen Wolf just ended and here's a rant. Now, it's not that the finale wasn't good or anything, actually it was great. And something I loved was that I felt like it really came full circle. Jeff Davis even said in an interview that he "thought about what kind of series finale fits this show best... it was 'and the adventure continues.'" Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that the show is going to come back for a reboot, but it means that these stories aren't over and these characters are still very much involved in each other's lives. One thing I like about this is that it gives us, the audience and the fans, the opportunity to use our imagination to continue thinking about, loving, and creating these characters and their stories. And, I mean, who knows? Maybe in 5-10 years, we'll be sitting in front of our T.V's just waiting for the reboot movie, spinoff, or true finale. The point is these stories aren't over and instead of Jeff Davis trying to make us believe that there are no more battles to be fought, wounds to be healed, hearts to be broken or fixed, he leaves us with simply the message of the show. No clear, concrete end. Just a message. Scott says to a newly introduce character in the finale, "if you feel like an outsider, if you feel alone, you can be one of us. You can be with us." That is the message of the show. Plain and simple. Jeff Davis said that the reason for bringing in that new character, Alec, wasn't exactly to reboot the show, but to portray the message. One more final thing to realize is that as of right now, Davis and the rest of the show's creators are working on some sort of reboot for the show—something to keep it alive. So, the next time we see teen Wolf it probably won't be on our TV's, but it definitely is not gone forever.
